IMG_4103
Ingredients:
8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup lemon juice
4 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. garlic salt
2 t. paprika
2 t. salt
2 t. pepper
1-1/2 to 2 cups dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 oil
cooked rice
Place chicken in a 13”x9” glass baking pan; set aside. In a bowl combine sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Coat chicken evenly with sour cream mixture; cover and refrigerate overnight. About an hour before serving time, roll chicken in bread crumbs and return to pan. In a bowl, whisk together butter and oil; spoon half of mixture over chicken in pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Spoon remaining butter mixture over chicken. Bake 15 minutes longer, just until chicken juices run clear when pierced. Serve with cooked rice. Makes 8 servings.
And as usual the book is filled with fun tips and heartwarming stories on each and every page.

My favorite Christmas breakfast is a sweet fruit breakfast casserole that marinates in the frig overnight before baking in the morning, simple home fries made with just potatoes, onions, salt, olive oil & just a dab of butter for flavor, & for those that just want a quick bite, donuts - usually with chocolate on top - Oh & don't forget the coffee - very important - coffee.
