It’s always hard to choose which recipes to try first, so I ended up trying a few.
The recipes I’m going to share with you today were a big hit with the family.
Both of them were oh so good. I’ve also made the Chocolate Chip Macaroon Bars but forgot to take a picture. But take my word for it, they were DELICIOUS!!
Once again this cookbook is chock full of simple and easy recipes. Like Deep Dish Sausage Pizza, Easy French Dip Sandwiches, Sweet Salsa, Peanut Buttery Chocolatey Cups and so much more. You’re tummy will be very happy. Trust me!
Just look at the Contents:
Fun & Filling
Speedy & Satisfying
Casual & Comforting
Baked & Buttery

Then, for dessert, I made a homemade deep dish apple pie. It was myfirst attempt, and came out pretty good.

ReplyDeleteHi there, this would be my first Gooseberry Patch cookbook. I hadn't heard of them before, but it sounds like something I need to check out because...
ReplyDeleteI'm going to admit that my dinner skills have been sorely lacking this summer... last night I served leftover spaghetti with frozen meatballs and frozen veggies, and tonight I gave my kids buttered toast and watermelon. I'm not usually quite so pathetic. It's just that my husband is traveling and I'm on an elimination diet, so when it's just the kids eating the dinner, I don't put much effort in obviously.
