101 Stovetop Suppers Review and Giveaway!

Hello all you wonderful peeps out there. It’s time for another giveaway.

This book is from the 101 series put out by Gooseberry Patch.

Let’s start out with some of the reasons why I like this cookbook.

  • More than likely you’re only having to deal with one pot. Love that.
  • Easy to put together dishes.
  • A nice variety meals.
  • Color photos on every page. (I like to see what I’m shooting for.)

The table of contents are short and sweet in this book.

  • Quick and Easy
  • Slowly Simmered
  • Serves a Crowd

I’ve already made:

  • Quick Coq au Vin (Thumbs up from the whole family)
  • Tempting Teriyaki Chicken ( SO easy to make. Not to mention yummy.) 
  • Bowties, Sausage and Beans (Yum)
  • Ham & Potato Skillet Supper (Happy mouths all around.)

  1. My favorite summer time meal? I like hot dogs cooked on the grill (all beef), corn on the cob, mac n cheese, green beans, cantalope, bread, and sweet iced tea.

  9. Hmmm.... I must have missed the questions somehow cuz' everyone else is sayin' their favorite summer foods.

    I like a good fruit salad during the summer. I also like bacon ranch chicken pitas with spinach and parmesean cheese :)

  10. We love love love spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce, a no-cook mixture of chopped tomatoes, chopped basil and garlic, olive oil, S&P with hot cooked spaghetti tossed into it.

  18. My favorite summer time meal is anything that doesn't involve over heating the kitchen. Don't use the oven a lot in the summer. Stove top recipes sound great.
