I usually drink this for lunch as it is packed full of protein and dairy. I know I know, no green veggies. (you can add them if you like but don't blame me when you taste it and wanna hurl lol)
It's quick and easy and filling. I've actually lost weight drinking these for lunch which is an added bonus I'm thinking!
Main Characters:
1 frozen banana
3 ice cubes
1/4c. vanilla low fat yogurt, ( I get Stoneyfields)
1/2 c. plain fat free yogurt
1 heaping spoonful of natural peanut butter ( organic if you got it)
1 scoop of whey protein powder (can omit if you don't have)
A splash of milk to make for easy mixing.
Supporting roles:
ground flax
wheat germ
My hubby got me a VitaMix blender for my birthday 2 years ago and I love it. It blends things so smoothly.
Anyway blend it until smooth and creamy.
