Eating Healthy & Losing Weight- Using Herbs

God gave us herbs. There is no doubt about their healing power on the human body. I've been studying "natural" alternatives for quite a few years now. I don't think my family has had to take an antibiotic in many years. I'm not saying that to brag but to encourage you to educate yourself on the uses of some very common herbs. Today I am just going to touch on some helpful herbs for weight loss but I will also be giving you links to some very helpful books on herbs and how to use them.
I think the most popular herb talked about is Green Tea. Green Tea gives your metabolism a boost. I always have this on hand.
Dandelion is great for flushing toxins out of the liver. I have this tea on my shelf as well.
Cayenne. I've been known to put a 1/ 2 tsp. of cayenne in water and drink it because it is a great fat burner. Not for the faint of heart lol.
Since I am by far an expert on the matter I do have some websites to share with you on this subject. I encourage you to check them out.
Just click here, here and here to check those out.

I have personally bought loose herbs from More Than Alive and have been very satisfied with them. Another great herb website is the Bulk Herb Store. Both of these sites have wonderful information on each herb and what it's good for. I highly recommend checking them out if you are serious about learning about herbs.
Here are two great herb books. The How to Herb book and Herbal Antibiotics
I found the Herbal Antibiotics on Amazon so if you click it you will be able to take a peek inside.

That wraps up our week of Eating Healthy and Losing Weight!
I hope you have enjoyed this week and if you have any questions on any of the posts I would be more than happy to answer your questions.
Hugs to you all!
