Don't forget your library. It's a great source of free literature. Did you know that at most libraries you can hold a book right from the comfort of your home and when it's delivered to your designated library they call you and all you do is go pick it up. I love that. I can do all my looking right here and then just have it all waiting for me at the desk when they call. Sweet huh? I hope you have enjoyed this little segment of Homeschooling the Charlotte Mason way. Blessings to you!!
Just reminding everyone about the inter-library loan system. Some people might live in a small town where the library system doesn't have much. They need to ask their librarian about inter-library loan. Most libraries are more than happy to get anything you request...from wherever they have to get it. I've gotten items from Georgia, Arkansas, Minnesota, California, and a host of other states as well.
ReplyDeleteBlessings on your day!

All of my homeschooling friends are experts at using the library system! Such great resources there. I am blessed to have 2 locations within 10 minutes' drive.

ReplyDeleteI love being able to hold books at the library. :D I have transfers from others around our town, too. We've gotten more books at our downtown library than on base.
