I have to tell you that I am so excited about this giveaway.
If you have kids, grand kids, nieces or nephews who love the Lord and long to memorize scripture, you are going to love this.
I was recently emailed by a wonderful young lady from Seeds Family Worship. I had never heard of them up until now but I was intrigued by their ministry, so I immediately went and checked out their site.
After about 10-15 mins of perusing I was convinced that I wanted to promote their CD's and tell you all about them. And in doing so they sent me a whole set of their CD's to offer as a giveaway on my blog.
Here's the thing I love. The songs on the cd's are 100% scripture set to upbeat and fun music. It's not drudgery to listen to. Because we all know that if we can't stand to listen to it then we aren't going to play it. But I honestly loved it and I am going to benefit by this because it can help ME memorize more scripture.
It's a win win situation.
Another thing I love is that when you buy a CD, you automatically have one to give away. That's right. Their whole purpose is for you to "spread the seeds".
See if you open it up it looks like this. There are 2 identical cd's on each side.
Then you tear off the one end, keep it (like I am) and send the other part to a friend (you)!
How cool is that?
They even have a verse memorization check list and memory cards that you can print that go along with the songs on the CD's.
And if you don't win, the CD's are still very reasonable. Remember you are getting 2 for the price of one.
So here's what I would like you to do. Take a little time to peruse their site. Listen to some sample songs. I want to make sure that this is something you would like to win and will use.
How to enter:
1. Leave me a comment telling me your favorite scripture.
2. Spread some seeds by spreading the news on your favorite venue. (Twitter, Facebook, Blog)
3. After you peruse their site come back and tell me what you thought about it.
But wait, there's more.
I have a sample CD that I will be giving to a second place winner.
This giveaway will stay open until Wednesday April 14th till 6pm EST. A winner will be drawn and announced soon after. US residents only please.
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY MY FRIENDS!
NOW GO SPREAD SOME SEEDS!
Disclaimer: The opinions on this post are strictly my own. I did receive a set of cd's to giveaway by Seeds of Worship.
Kim,
ReplyDeleteI have seen these literally popping up all over. I like, you have a virtual difficult time memorizing scripture the older I get so literally send me anything.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Hey Kim,
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scripture is: Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. It's been a favorite for many years!
I looked through the Seeds site and listened to each of the samples and they are great! I think I could learn a lot from then, let alone my family.
You know I work in a garnormous church in the Children's Ministry, don't you? Anyway, we average about 1,000 kids each week. I'm the 'behind the scenes gal' doing the curriculum and other things. I create puzzles and other things that will make each of the lessons stick in the little spongy minds of the kids.
We have lots of great talented worship folks, but I'm thinking I'll be telling lots of people about these CDs.
Have a great day friend!
Jamie
I would love to win. But I have so many favorite Scriptures - can I list a few?
ReplyDeleteJohn 16:33; Isaiah 41:10; Romans 1:16; all of Psalm 27.
And I blogged about it too!

I would love to win them. I won just one of them and we love it. Adore it. I think these are fabulous. count me in.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Mimi
Love it! Personally I am so glad they put Phil 4:6-7 in song! My favorite verse as it applies to every area of our lives! Shared it on FB too. Seems like they have a heart for childrens ministry so I just may have to support that! Wonderful giveaway/sharing!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Theresa
Hey! That's pretty good? My favorite scripture, do you mean on their cd's or just in general. Honestly I didn't listen to much but I do like them, so I'll tell you my favorite verse is "For nothing is impossible with God," Luke, uhhhh... well, it's in Luke!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever heard of the God Rocks? They are awesome too! Kids LOVE them. My husband and I work in children's ministry and they popular with preschooler all the way through about 10 years old. In their Bibletunes they sing NIV verses. Very fun.
I am new to your blog. . .found it while blog-hopping, but was impressed with your blurb about these CDs! I'm a teacher, so this really caught my attention!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Bible verse is a well-known one in Jeremiah: "For I know the plans I have for you. . ." Very reassuring to know He has plans, so I don't need to make them or work out anything all on my own!
Thanks for the post!
How cool! I really like Eph. 4:2 'Be completely humble and gentle, be patient bearing with one and other in love.'
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
This is really neat! I would love to have these for my Sunday School class. I am always trying to find a way to make Bible memory fun. We once did a rap to Deut. 13:4 and the kids still repeat it from memory any time they think about it. My favorite memory verse right now is Psalms 31:20 "You protect them by your presence from what people plan against them. You shelter them from evil words."
ReplyDeleteMy fave scripture:
ReplyDelete6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them." 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
My life was changed when I realized I could find favor with the Lord like Noah did.
Awesome giveaway!
I have these!!! I used them for years as a kids' worship leader! What a fantastic giveaway!!!
ReplyDeleteJeremiah 29:11...I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." That's my favorite verse. One that I have relied on many times.
ReplyDeleteI love the music. Not only would it help my kids learn Scripture, but I would have to take advantage of it also. The tunes are quite catchy and I can see how these CD's would become part of our daily routine.
What an awesome resource, and how cool that you were contacted to promote them.
ReplyDeleteA favorite verse...that's tough.
One that I am meditating on a lot lately is
Eph. 4:1
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteThese CDs look wonderful! Wow! Thanks for doing this giveaway.
My favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11. That has been my life verse since I was in high school. I don't know if this one is on one of their CDs, but I don't mind...all their CDs look really good.
I am going to post about this giveaway on my blog this morning too.
The Seeds website is great and full of really neat resources. I can't wait to browse around some more!
Thanks again Kim!
Have a blessed day,
Sheri

ReplyDeleteI went to the Family Seeds web page. Pretty cool music too. HLO
ReplyDeleteI linked you up on our blog. I am behind the curve with facebook and the others. Maybe some day I will get an account. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day... I'm listening to Seeds on line and enjoying it,
Thanks Kim!

Seek Ye first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you would be one of my favs. Of course when the kiddos are misbehaving it's honor your father and mother so you MAY live long, lol. I'd love to do these with my large family as part of our schooling day. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for hope and a future.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition and with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
ReplyDelete~ Phil 4v.6
this sounds like an amazing resource to listen to with my Littles in the van when we're driving the Bigs to their various activities... thanks for the chance to win a copy!! :o)
Blessings

He is the Rock, His work is perfect, and all His ways are judgement. A God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He. Love it that we have no reason to doubt His ways because His work is perfect -- unlike mine most of the time. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteCurrently, my fave is Micah 6:8 because it talks so plainly about what we should as Christians...of course we have to pray it out about how it plays out in our individual lives but it's a good one to store away, esp in this world of injustice! :)
ReplyDeleteHi. I am not familiar with Seeds Family Worship but it sounds really neat. My girls have enjoyed the Hide Em In Your Heart cd's for memorizing God's Word.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this giveaway!
I so love anything that makes memorization easy and quick. And what a more excellent way than to have it put in song form. YAY!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scripture has been Provrbs 3:5&6 for many years..
One of my favorite verses is Phil 4:6-7 and their song for this verse is neat!
ReplyDeleteChris
I have posted a link through my Facebook page..
ReplyDeleteI really like the catchy tunes!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite verse is Rom 8:28
My favorite verse is Romans 1:16. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to the Jew first and also the Greek.
ReplyDeleteSince I am a Messianic Jew this verse has a lot of meaning because one side of my family is Jewish and the other is what you would call a Greek.
I love the materials that you showed us. They would be great for me alone and also my kids.
My favorite verse is Isaiah 46:3.
ReplyDeleteWell I see that I'm too late with my comment now, but I was happy to spread the word on twitter and facebook yesterday! I did check them out and liked the music and think it's a great way to memorize Scripture! Good giveaway my friend!
ReplyDeleteBig what-a-sweet-family-giveaway hugs to you!
Romans8:28 All thing work together for good to those who love the Lord. This is one of my favorite verses.
ReplyDeleteI put on my facebook page. My email is mamafox2001@yahoo.com

These cd's would be great for my grandchildren. As a child I learned scripture verses and sang songs to scripture. Now as an older person it is very hard to memorize scripture but I do find if it is put to music it is alot easier to memorize. These would be a great help for my grandchildren and the children at our kids club.
ReplyDeleteThanks for offering this awesome give away and God Bless.

I Love these and my children and grandchildren would also love them when they get older. Thank you so much for sharing. I I shared on facebook. Jeremiah 29:11.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Since I'm a missionary in Thailand I missed the chance (we are a day ahead of you) to put my hat in the pot for the free CD's. We have the first two and have loved them for our kids. However, our favorite verse is "Whoever welcomes a little child in my name welcomes Me, and not me, but the One who sent Me." Mark 9:37. Adopting orphans has been part of our family ministry (13 so far!)so this naturally is one of our favorites!
