I honestly have no idea what they are or what they are "supposed" to be used for, but I saw pillar candles in them.
Then I walked past these little beauties a few times and decided that they would go perfect in my "Cafe" theme by holding tea lights in them.
They have a really pretty design and the color went perfect with my decor'. They look really pretty all lit up.
Here they are on my hutch. Isn't that just a nice calming glow? I love candles.
Now back to the stainless steel thingys. I've done the coffee bean filler before but did it again so you can see the versatility in what you can use to add a different feel to your decor'. The possibilities are endless. You could use candy hearts for Valentine's Day, potpourri, beads, etc.
But ultimately I decided to go outside and use some of our landscaping rocks. Shhh! don't tell my husband. Maybe he won't notice.
I didn't want to just set them on the table the same height so I used a plastic container with a handkerchief over it and put one of the candles on top. But I can't decide which I like better on top.
Tell me how you prefer it. The red one on top or the white.
So what was my thrift store grand total for 3 pairs of jeans, 2 stainless steel sunthins', and 2 glasses?
Right around $13.00. Not to bad I say.
What have you found thrifty these days?
Have a fabulous day my friends!
Very pretty, Kim! :D I need to think out of the box more.

ReplyDeleteKim,
ReplyDeleteAll I know is I need to spend more time shopping at thrift stores and antique stores to find those little treasures not often found in the larger stores and save so much money in the process.
