Over the past few weeks, okay years, I've had my fair share of chocolate. It's pretty much what makes the world go round.
But recently I've eaten probably MORE than my fair share of chocolate due to the bit of stresses that I've had with the whole house thing and all.
And in this time I've noticed something about my husband. I can no longer grab a piece of Dark Dove Chocolate without grabbing him one. And if I grab 2, he wants 2.
Now this can be good and this can be bad.
It's good because if he eats it, I won't.
It's bad because if he eats it, I can't.
Oh sure he looks innocent enough.
But if THIS enters the house when he's in it, he is most definitely a part of it! LOL!
What's a girl to do?
Honey, should I buy you your own bag of chocolate?
Does your husband feel this way about chocolate or something else you love that you areforced willing to share?
Have a FABULOUS day!

Hoagies or subs or grinders or heroes or whatever you call them in your neck of the woods. When we (hubby and moi) were starving students, we always split one (a 6 incher) to save money.....even though we were famished. To this day, we always tend to split things. It feels odd if we don't.
ReplyDeleteChocolate should taste better and has less calories if you share it!! ( ;
LOL don't you love it when your hubby is your partner in crime too??
ReplyDeleteLOL don't you love it when your hubby is your partner in crime too??
ReplyDeleteLOL! I "allow" my husband to have a few random pieces out of my See's stash when I have them. He can have only the ones that I don't go nuts for. LOL!
ReplyDeleteWe have the SAME chocolate issue here in my house! But it was no secret to me that my hubby loves it. I just buy plenty for both of us (read: if I want my own Symphony bar, I buy a 2nd one just for him!!).
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Maria :)
I feel your pain. My husband takes my chocolate too!!
ReplyDeleteOh, my husband loves chocolate, too!
ReplyDeleteToo funny!!! Oh, and my husband loves chocolate too.
ReplyDeleteOh my hubs insists on equal amounts of chocolate and goodies! Remember those lovely Godiva truffles I had? He had 6 and I had 6. Good - I ate 6 less truffles. Bad - I ate 6 less truffles. Truffles that were sent to *me*. :)
ReplyDeleteOf course our husbands work hard and certainly deserve all the chocolate too! It's just too bad they like all the same stuff we do.
Big my-hubs-even-asks-when-he-comes-home-from-work-"How-many-of-these-did-you-have-today?"-so-he-can-catch-up-and-have-equal-amounts size hugs to you!! LOL! Have a SUPER day my lovely friend! :)
I always buy twice as much as I want because I know he will get his share whether I do or don't!! Gotta love them!!
ReplyDeleteLove and Blessings
Unfortunately I usually eat all the goodies before mine gets a chance at all!
ReplyDeleteToo funny that your are in it together...even the chocolate:)
ReplyDeleteCute.
It is gum with my husband...if I open a piece to chew he has to have one too. Ugh. My whole pack goes so much faster. LOL
hugs,
Mimi

My DH is more of a chocoholic than me!! HE wakes up in the middle of the night just to have some chocolate. BUT ~ he is far kinder and more willing to share than I am!
ReplyDeleteHum... that is quite the dilemma! :)
ReplyDeleteI cant wait to checkout your homeschooling blog... we might start Colton this fall!
Blessings-
Amanda
My husband doesn't eat much chocolate...go figure!
ReplyDeleteJust be sure when you go to the mall to get your Harry & David truffles that you HIDE them....you're gonna want them all to yourself! ;-)
Your pic had me drooling all over my keyboard! lol
HA! I can't think of just one thing. I have to hide stuff if I want to enjoy it later. You could break that chocolate habit by offering him some 98%. I just had to try some I found at World Market. DAWG! That stuff'll make ya stan' up an' slap yo mama!
ReplyDeleteOh, wait! I just thought of one... coz it's the most recent... Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. I got those, coz Publix was sold out of the truffles. Mmmmmmm!!!!! I could easily have justified selfishness in their case. 8-}
Love ya loads, share-bear!
Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^
I can't have chocolate to myself - oh no! It all HAS to be shared. LOL.
