Friday Funnies! This is not my family!

Hello my friends!
HAPPY FRIDAY!
It's time to laugh, it's time to giggle, it's time to make that middle jiggle! LOL!

If you have a family friendly funny to share, feel free to link up at the end of this post.
It could be a story, joke, video, picture etc.
Let's spread some fun today.

My funny today is actually a confession I need to make.
As I was sitting on the couch yesterday, my son was playing over at the bookshelf.
Looks harmless enough right?

Well let's focus in on this.
This is not my family.
This picture frame has been a part of my decor for over a year now, probably more like 3. I know! I know! Long enough that I've actually named the family in the pictures.
Let me introduce you to The Doe family.
Mr. John Doe, his wife Jane Doe and their children Jake, Julie and little John Doe Jr.

I've got issues don't I?
Have you ever bought a picture frame, actually set it out and then never put pictures of your family in it?

HAPPY FRIDAY MY FRIENDS!!

  2. Yes. I have a lovely frame lined in scripture. It's hanging on my bedroom wall between the words hope and love...and some unknown couple is in there embracing eachother. It's been a year or 2..

  3. Me? No. But I have a friend who I visited just the other day who has a HUGE picture collage up on her wall with, you guessed it, not her family in it. She said she didn't want to store it so she hung it up to get it out of the way until she was ready to work on it!

  6. A friend of mine has a HUGE photo frame like this hanging on her wall. She doesn't have any 'real' pictures in it either, but had made up names and relations for everyone.. too funny..
    Love it!

Oh, and you missed one of my posts that I snuck in right before today's (I even put a link to it in today's post just to help you out!) Just thought you should know...LOL! :)

  10. Kim,

I have done this and I can't tell you for how long my picture frame sat like that until I finally decided to put our pictures in there. If you just took out the words for the frame dimensions, no one would know!! :)

Joining you today for Friday Funnies, mine is dedicated to you!

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat

  12. Oh that is great! priceless. I am so sick today, laying on the couch while kids are outside, and you just made my day.:) I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
But hey, some of those frames have beautiful older looking photos in them, like antiques....and at least you get to see whoever they are's smiling faces every day. LOL

  13. Too funny!!! Now I have to confess, at least you have it setting up, my picture frame is setting on the floor and has been there since mother's day...without our pictures in it.
Well I did't link up but I guess my post today goes along with this funny Friday anyway.
    Thanks for the laugh!!!

  14. The last time I bought a picture frame, my kids got really upset that I was covering up the pictures of the people who were in the pictures...

Great post! Thanks for the laugh, and bringing back a good memory!

  16. Usually I take the pictures out because I don't like strangers in my house looking at me. Filling them with actual pictures is my problem.

We are back home now. I miss your 80 degree days so much! ) . :
