I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. I admit I felt a little spoiled this year from my whole family. They each gave me such thoughtful gifts.
Speaking of gifts, this is what happens to the wrapping paper once the gifts have all been unwrapped.
We put all the wrapping paper in a pile and then it’s go time.
And then my floor looks something like this when it’s all said and done.
I don’t think a bunch of gift bags would have been near as much fun!
I think I’m ready to get back to some normalcy. We are starting up school again the first of the year and I need to get my house back in order and that means putting away all the Christmas things. It does come down quicker than it goes up, so that’s good.
New Years Eve I’m sure I’ll be sound asleep way before midnight. Call it OAD (old age disease) or call it having to get up at 4:45am, either way I’m sure the new year will be ushered in whether my eyelids are open or closed. But if you’re doing something super cool, do tell. I’ll just live vicariously through you!
HAVE A GREAT DAY MY FRIENDS!
Looks like a lot of fun !
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Look at those wrapping papers.... lol... Looks like somebody's having so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like SO much fun my friend!! With our little family, we just don't have that much wrapping paper and grandparents just send us food or checks so there are no other gifts to unwrap besides our own.
ReplyDeleteBig you-know-it's-a-good-Christmas-when-you-have-a-big-mess-under-the-tree size hugs to you!! Love you friend! :)
Must. Clean. Up. Mess. NOW! Gracious, what a pile of trash!!! Glad you had a fun Christmas. No plans here for New Years. Hubby will be home and we'll be fast asleep!
ReplyDeleteChurch service that goes past midnight. Nothing beats ringing in the New Year praising the Lord!
ReplyDeleteWow...all that Christmas wrapping paper brought back so many childhood memories. My family had this huge trash bucket and would have it in the center of the room. As soon as we unwrapped our presents, the paper went in the trash can!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your family. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather ;)
That looks like such a blast! I can just hear the giggles and laughter now :)
ReplyDeleteSuch Joy is found in the small things!
