Coming Home for Christmas DVD Giveaway!!!

I had the pleasure of receiving and reviewing this Norman Rockwell Coming Home for Christmas DVD. I am an advocate for movies that the whole family can watch without fear of foul language, sex, violence etc. So if you like those kind of movies too, you’ll really enjoy this one.

Coming Home for Christmas

About COMING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

After their parents separate, two estranged sisters who haven't been on speaking terms reunite in hopes that having a family Christmas all together for the first time in years will bring their Mom and Dad close again. They plan to do this in their old family home... the only problem is someone else lives there now.

The DVD includes a limited edition Norman Rockwell print!

Who is Norman Rockwell?  Rockwell was famous for his famous American culture illustrations and artwork. He was born in the late 1800’s and died in the mid 1900’s.

My Thoughts: I thought it was very heartwarming and sweet. It’s not big Hollywood but the acting was well done and the singing between the sisters was wonderful. To me anything based around Christmas is a plus as well. All in all we all liked it. There were some cheesy moments, some good laughs, and moments that make you long for the simple pleasures of family.

Here’s the trailer for a sneak peak.

So what do you think? Would you like to win a copy? Because you can.

Here’s what you gotta do. Leave a separate comment for each entry.

  1. Leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite Christmas movie is. (Mandatory entry)

  9. Favorite Christmas move is "a Christmas story" as a kid they would play it at the movies with a can of soup as admission. My brother and our friends would go every year, without our parents. It was awesome!

  12. I love a lot of CHRISTmas movies. Probably my top 3 favorites are "It's a Wonderful Life", the original "Miracle on 34th Street", and "White Christmas".

  13. My all time favorite Christmas movie is an uncommon one- Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas! The entire family loves it, so much so that when my oldest child was 3 he watched it almost every day for a year. It based off a beautiful book a dear friend of mine found a copy of at an estate sale and purchased for us.

  16. My favorite is the CHRISTmas card on Hallmark..I look forward to seeing it each year and it mostly is because of the breathtaking scenery in the film. The log home and the town that it is set in is out of a winter's dream. I am a sap for a heart warming CHRISTmas movie. It may be poignant for me to watch...I have been estranged from my own sister for a year because of some poor decisions she has made...but I trust that God can mend all in his timing.. I also watch It's a Wonderful Life each CHRISTmas eve as I finish last minute"ELF" duty and the others sleep or at their age now...are off playing video games or watching sillier CHRISTmas fare. Glad you support the clean scene!

  18. Christmas Card is my favorite. It was released on Hallmark in 2006 and I watch it every year. It reminds me of Hope that is there for all of us. The true spirit of Christmas especially with family and new beginnings. Thank you for your wonderful review of Coming Home For Christmas. Wishing you and your family a beautiful Thanksgiving and Christmas.
