I love the words REFRESH and RENEW. It just means a new start. Lately I've been determined to spend that time with the Lord early in the morning. Reading the bible, doing my devotions and praying. I don't stress myself out over a certain time limit as I know I will be seeking Him during the day as well. I am also determined to bring the praise and worship music back into my home. I notice that when the kids are driving me crazy or I'm irritable, if I just put on some praise and worship music it just seems to take care of it all. The kids calm down and my spirit is renewed and refilled to keep me going.
These are some small goals that I am setting to renew and refresh this Spring and throughout the year.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to renew and refresh yourself. I do the same thing. Boy, if the mood is bad, sad, or just not where it should be...I pop in some worship music and that seems to change the tone immediately & we can all get our focus back. I love to worship at His feet throughout the day.
ReplyDeleteGood ideas for refreshing and renewing my friend! I am still trying to get back in the habit of spending time with the Lord first thing in the morning. I need to put on worship music more because I do love it! Also, whenever I have upbeat music on - I do housework faster - LOL!
