Monthly Organizing Round-Up

Okay here's my monthly roundup. Since the boys room is their play room too, I had to kind of combine the two together. I am slowly transforming their room from Pooh Bear to John Deere. I just need to make the curtains and take the pooh bear things off the wall. I made them John Deere fleece blankets for Christmas last year and got a whole bunch of John Deere stuff from Wally World after Christmas. Here is the before picture of their closet.

And now the after.Okay not a huge difference but a bit better lol!
This is their room before.

This is the after. I rearranged their room a little as our youngest won't be in his crib to much longer.
Now this is what was in their toy box. Just little irritating stuff. They had no idea most of that stuff was in there. But when Mom starts cleaning it out all of a sudden it's their favorite toy. Anyone else have that problem lol?
Here is what I managed to get out of their room and donate. Just too much stuff!

My youngest managed to sneak the castle on the right there out of the pile before it made it to the garage because I just saw it yesterday lol. Well there you have it. Phew! I'm glad that room is done. But I'm not looking forward to the next big challenge of mine. The office! Did anyone else just here the Twilight Zone music? I can't wait to see everyone's challenges. Don't forget to say hi before you leave.
Blessings!

  1. I just passing through and thought I would say g'day as requested. love your boys room and all there gear, no so much fond of good old john deere. Will drop by again - next time we will share milk and cookies, or here we have tea and damper.

  2. Great job on your playroom/bedroom! I agree that sometimes you have to "donate" a few items to reduce the mess. Hey, someone will find fun with them! Isn't it great when you rearrange the furniture and the space opens up? Thanks for sharing!

In fact, I just posted my CVS stuff for the week. I spent $6.48 on $298 worth of stuff... and that included two pack of diapers and 4 packs of tp!

  6. Man you must have taken a motivation pill before all of that. As the boys get older they will love you coming in and cleaning their room. My 24 year old daughter still loves for me to come and clean her house. I think it is great that you teach your children how blessed they are and to share their blessings with others.
