So I was going through some old photos and came across our trip to MGM last year and thought you would get a kick out of this. It's me, my best friend Kathy, my daughter and one of her friends on the Tower of Terror ride. We rode this thing 11 or 12 times that day and I decided that I would try filming us on it. It starts out really dark because...well....it's dark in there. The only time you see light is when it raises to the very top and then you sit there for a few seconds and then it drops you 13 stories. The video is pretty hilarious and it actually came out better than I thought seeing how I couldn't tell if I was even getting us in the picture. Beware we look like the last roses of summer because this was the end of the day. You can only see me and Kathy in this one because the girls are sitting beside us. Get ready for a good laugh! Make sure you turn the volume up so you can hear us screaming lol! My friend couldn't not hold on to some part of my body and I told her that if this thing malfunctioned I would be no help to her lol!

If you ever make it to MGM in Florida I highly recommend this ride. It is a true rush. We go every year. We wouldn't if we didn't get in for free though. It's so expensive other wise.

Ew, Ew, Ew!!!! I rode the Tower of Tower in March, and I truly thought I would die!!!! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience for me...The Soarin' ride on the other hand...or Test Track...or even the Rock'nrollin jerky ride, ok...but nevah evah again on the Towah of Tewah!!!!

I heard that song by Casting Crowns on the radio yesterday and it really reached my heart. I hope people don't take it as judgement just a look inside a hurting person's heart.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! We made our trek to Disney World last summer and had an absolute blast! Tower was our absolute favorite. We were there on Father's Day. It was Star Wars day and the Storm Troopers greeted us at the gate. My hubby was so excited. He took pictures of EVERY star wars character in the parade. We can't wait to go back!
