Okay so this tackle actually happened about 2 months ago but I don't think I was tackling Tuesdays yet and since we still aren't completely done PAINTING, I thought this would be a great tackle to post. So this weeks tackle is our deck on the front of our house. I love decks. Decks always attracted me to a house. They are so inviting and homey.
Here is the before of our house.
We had to take out the landscaping in the front. Cue man with 4 wheel drive to haul out palm trees. Give my husband any excuse to be a redneck and he'll do it ha ha!
Here we all are "helping". A little to the left honey....yup that's good, right there..! Actually I did help him A LOT! But we thought this picture was funny because this is what he saw.
and this is what we saw.....him actually working lol.
Okay let's just jump to the final picture, you all are busy woman and have other things to do lol. So here is the finished deck. Though, since this picture we've added some more landscaping and flowers. We are looking for a wicker patio set to put out here but haven't found one affordable yet. Don't you just want to sit out here with your cup of coffee and mosquito repellent?
Well there you have it. Tune in next time when you'll hear me say, "WE'RE FINALLY DONE PAINTING!" Let's hope.
Have a most excellent day my friends.
Blessings to you all!
That looks so good! I am soooooo jealous, love the pergola! I am still in the planning phase for my patio, maybe this fall will be the time!
ReplyDeleteStop by my tackle which is similar to the mountain we climbed in Maine last week!

ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely beautiful! What a fun place to enjoy your family!
ReplyDeleteThat is just awesome...I agree that decks/porches are just so inviting and friendly. It gives off peace and tranquility don't you think? My patio is on the back and I have hammock swings so I sit out there in the swing and drink my diet coke and watch the live animals that I feed. I have a fountain that I plug in each morning to listen to the water sounds while I am out there. I truly love the outdoors, and I love your deck and landscaping, the colors are BEAUITFUL.

Beautiful! My home in Vero has a beautiful deck out front that my brother built. He was a journeyman carpenter before he was in a car accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury.
ReplyDeleteWe loved to sit out there with the chiminea going on a cold night (I know those are rare). Enjoy the fruits of your labor!!!
