A Special Giveaway for My Blog Friends

I was doing a little sewing this week and as I was finishing up my bag/purse , I thought, "I wonder if anyone else would like me to make them a bag/purse as well?" Hence a giveaway was born. Here is all you have to do.
A. Like the type of purse that I make LOL. I don't want to make one for you if you aren't going to use it.
B. You needed to have commented at least 3 times before this post to be qualified. The reason is because this is something I want to do for my bloggy friends that come here often. I know who you are lol. I read my comments.
C. Leave a comment on this post saying you would LOVE for me to make one for you lol. If you don't want the purse you can still leave me a comment and tell me how much you LOVE my purse lol.
The giveaway will last until next Wednesday. My regular readers better have read this by then lol. The winner will have their choice of fabric from the list that I will give them. I have plenty to choose from in different ranges of colors. So I hope you think this is as fun as I want it to be. It's my way of saying thanks to all my new blog friends. Oh one side note, this is isolated to the United States. I'm not sure if I have regular out of country readers but that would just be to expensive right now. Sorry!
Here is the bag I just finished for myself. I'm not a professional seamstress by any means but it turned out okay.

I put pockets inside for cell phone and wallet.

This one I made awhile back out of my favorite pregnancy shirt. I loved the fabric and thought well I probably won't be wearing this anymore so a bag was born. As you can see I'm partial to the tropical fabric lol.
Well that's it for now. I hope this little giveaway is able to bless one of you gals as much as you have blessed me with your friendship.
Have a most excellent day!

  1. Oh, pick me! Pick me! I just LOVE it. Did you hot glue it? Ha! Just kidding, that would be me. What a sweet idea, my friend. Blessing to you from the stink factory. (the wind changed and that stinkin' skunk smell has decided to stay a bit longer...oiy!) I'm still smiling though.

  2. LOL not just commenting for the purse but I have to commend you LOL that is super. I tried once and wew mine is now used as a doll diaper bag by Alexis. It was so sad! I once tried to crochet as well and my "blanket" is used a doll scarf LMBO! I must add though my current purse has a busted zipper.

  3. Can you see my hand in the air? Does bribery work? I can rig it so you win my next contest? Of course, I've never had a contest. But I could think about having a contest if I won this contest. Yeah, that's it, you could inspire me to have a contest, unless of course I lose this one.

Seriously, those are adorable. I can't believe you can do THAT too. Anythin' you cain't do, girl?

Oh, and since you can do anything, will you drag some of your readers over to my blog to help me with today's post? I'd love to see some new faces. Not that I don't like seeing yours, because I do. Great, now I've gone and ruined my chances at the contest. Oh well. ;)

  4. Those are both very cute purses, I would love to be considered for the drawing, who wouldn't? I agree with your other readers, is there anything you can't do? My give away will not be anything nearly as talented...in fact, I will be purchasing it...lame huh? But mine will have to be waited for. I am not doing it till posting 300, and I have a few more to go till then. Hoping around Christmas...or I will just do it anyway!

  5. Super cute!! Kudos to you from me... don't think I could make anything half as fabulous! I hope, I hope, I hope I have commented three times prior to this post! Since this baby will be a girl (yeah right!) I'd love a pink one too. It'd be the most stylish diaper purse in Iowa!

  6. Oh-oh-oh, I'm jumping up and down with excitement! I LOVE bloggy contests, LOL! You are so talented to make beautiful purses. I can sew, but I haven't been brave enough to try a purse. You are super sweet to have a spontaneous bloggy giveaway. I'm planning to have one for my 100th post (which will be sometime probably in October).

Please throw my name into the hat!

  7. Those purses are adorable! And the tropical prints are making me want to go somewhere...tropical. :)

You are extremely talented in the craft area (Sadly, I am not). You could have a side-business with those purses.

    Have a blessed weekend!

  9. Hi there, Kim....
I'm wondering about your blog site...I like the background with the scrolling blog and info. How did you do that? It appears to me that you are using Blogger but I don't know html and have used a template....can I make changes to add a background similar to the way your blog is done? If you care to advise, I'd appreciate that!
