Tackle It Tuesday- Fall Decorating

In honor of the beginning of Fall, this weeks tackle is Fall decorating. I love having a little something to welcome in the beginning of Fall. Even if it is 87 degrees outside. *SIGH* But I say turn down the air and break out those decorations! I didn't go crazy but just a little something to make the house a bit more festive and fun.

This little cute wreath welcomes you at the door. On clearance at Wal-Mart last year! Woo Hoo!

After you walk in the front door this awaits you to make you smile or scare you off, since it is a scarecrow. But they look harmless enough. This is what I did for the table. I filled a glass pumpkin with pumpkin spice potpourri and put a cute fall candle in the middle and then added the things out and around it. It smells really good! I made the table cloth. I didn't have a nice fallish one so since I like to do things the "hard" way, I made one lol. Not that it was hard but it was harder then grabbing one off the shelf at Wal-Mart lol. This little assortment is on a table under our TV. I thought it needed a little something there. Now if I can convince my kids not to "play" with it.
Well that's it. Make sure you head on over to 5 Minutes for Mom to see what other people are tackling this Tuesday! Happy Fall Ya'll! Blessings
.

  6. I love your decorations! You've definitely been busy! I love the tablecloth, too.

    Fall is definitely in the air here in Mississippi. The humidity is lacking and the temps are predicted to be in the 80's all week. It's supposed to get down to 55 Thursday night. I may stay up for that, LOL!

    Thanks for your comment on the IOW post on hospitality. I want to be just like you when I grow up, LOL! Seriously, I'm going to start making a real effort at having people over.

  7. Good grief, how do you keep your house sooooo clean? I love your decorations and feel you are exactly right about changing the mood. It is very sweet, very fallish, and I think you are just so talented. Do you read "We are THAT family"? You remind me a lot of Kristen from over there. You are both just so creative.

  12. I love your tablecloth! Great job! And it's unique. If you'd grabbed one off the shelf, it'd be just like everybody else's. You've made me want to autumn up around here, but first I have to find the other half of the LR floor. 8-}

    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

  17. Totally cute decorations! I'm jealous. What a great tackle. The best I could do for fall decor was to light a fall-esque candle. Woohoo.
