More Award Love

I have to be honest I have a hard time posting these and receiving these and trying to keep a small head lol. I want you to know that it really does humble me for my buddies to think of me in this way and I am very thankful for you and your thoughtfulness toward me. So here are the recent awards given.

This one is from Lisa over at Stop and Smell the Chocolates. I think it's so cute and am very thankful that she thought of me to receive it.

Now this award isn't just any award, it comes with a questionnaire. Here goes:

1. Do you have the same friends since childhood? Once in awhile I speak to someone who I've known since 3rd grade. Other than that I have a friend that I talk to from 8th grade on. But my very best and longest real friend has been Kathy. We've been friends for about 12 years and still going strong.

2. What do you value most about your friends? Their ability to put up with my silliness. Of course most of my friends are silly themselves.*Cough* Right Kathy? *Cough* Also my true friends would drop anything to help me.

3. Are your friends your sounding boards? Ultimately my husband is but my friend gets an earful of useless information as well!

4. What is your favorite activity to share with your friends? Well Kathy and I love to go to JoAnne Fabrics, watch a movie and eat cookies, go to MGM aka Hollywood Studios. We haven't tried doing those all at once yet though lol.

I'm to give this to 5 friends so here they are. I'm going to send it back to Lisa because she is my bud and even though she already got this it doesn't mean I can't give the sentiment back. My other 4 choices are:

1. Sophie over at Shabach the Rock- She lives somewhere in the same state and I'm determined to hunt her down lol. We'd have a blast I'm sure.

2. Debra over at Clothed with Scarlet- She blesses my heart. One of the sweetest women I have ever not met lol. She also lives in Florida and I am going to hunt her down as well!

3. Kathy at Blessed Beyond Imagination- I know that Lisa gave this to her as well but come on she's my best friend. Without her what's a friendship award for huh?

4. Donna over at Cottage Days and Journeys- This lady didn't know me from Adam but when I asked if she would send post cards from her wonderful trip for my daughter's homeschooling, she didn't think twice. We received some gorgeous post cards from her adventures and my daughter is having a blast writing about them and scrap booking them for school. She has become a very good blog friend.

I also received these awards from my very good friends and I would like to acknowledge that as well.

This came from Shirley. Thank you Shirley!

These are from Debra. Thanks Debra! Muwah!
This one is from Sophie. Thank you my dear friend.
Now I know there are some rules I'm supposed to abide too with these and probably send them on or something but this would be a very long post due to the fact that I have procrastinated and hadn't posted them until now.
From here on out I promise if I ever get another award again I'll post it within a few days to pass it on. It's not fair to keep it all to myself.
Thank you all who even read my silly posts. I have loved getting to know a lot of you and enjoy reading a lot of your blogs as well.
Have a most blessed day!

  9. Well, bless your sweet soul! Thanks ever so for including me in this laudable list. 8-]

Did you get my address? I'm pretty sure I left it in your comments somewhere. We're about 350 (or so) miles apart, I reckon. People are always surprised to learn how long FL really is. I think, if we ever all got together, we might cause quite a disturbance wherever we went. lol!

    Ya know this could qualify as your tackle for this week. ;}

  10. How neat that you still talk to someone from back in the 3rd grade!! (Of course you ARE younger than I am!!) The longest friendship I have is a gal I actually met in 6th grade. But we didn't become good friends until 9th grade. She lives in Pennsylvania, so our friendship is one of those across the miles ones and, sadly, it's become the once a year Christmas card kind.

My longest, really deep friendship is about 14 years old. And although we now live in different states and even in different countries at one time (when she was on a missions assignment), friends in the Lord can always be close in heart.

    Blessings,
    Patti
