Looking forward to a New Year!

Well here it is. The last day of 2008! Can you say...mmmmm buh bye!
I am excited about the new year. It's a great time to start anew. There are no guarantees that this year will be any easier than the last but we all know that you have to take it as it comes.
I have some exciting things I'm going to be blogging about and I thought I'd give you a little sneak peek.
For all you fellow home-schoolers, I am going to be giving you a sneak peek into what we do and how we do it. Homeschooling started to become a drudgery for me and my kids until I was led to a completely different mindset that has worked so well for us this year. So I will be sharing a bit about that and yes, there will be pictures lol.

I think it's been to long since I've had a giveaway and since the Bloggy Giveaway Carnival is right around the corner, I thought that would be the perfect time. That starts Jan.26-30th. I'll give you a hint on what I'll be giving away. It has to do with organization. So be on the lookout for that. Also if you are having a giveaway and want me to post about it please let me know. I'd be happy to spread the word. I don't always have time to check out everyones blog everyday, so just leave a shout out to me.

I have some book and video reviews that I will be sharing. I have one coming up that you won't want to miss.

I know that there are tons of websites out there for recipes and cooking but I want to invite you to check out my cooking blog as I only post tried and true recipes that my family "actually" eats. Most of the recipes are healthy and lower fat. I also want to start adding some how to videos for those of you who struggle with getting in the kitchen. I was intimidated when I first got married. But now I love to cook! Let me help inspire you in that area.

Let's see. Friday Funnies will continue as usual. I have so enjoyed this Meme. I wasn't sure how it would do but it seems to be blessing a lot of you and spreading some laughs around the blogosphere. Be sure to join us on Friday's right here.

Herbs and Tea. I'm tossing around the idea of posting more and more about what I'm finding out about the uses of herbs. Let me know if that is something you would find beneficial.

Well there you go. A sneak peek into what's going around in my brain. I know it all sounds so serious and meaningful but I assure you that my way of posting anything with meaning is going to make you laugh in some way. If not in my lack of writing skills, then it will be something else I assure you. I know I make some of you "writers" cringe with my use of commas and punctuation lol.

Okay I know this has been a long read but thanks for sticking it out.
I wish everyone a very Happy New Year!!
HUGS!

  7. Sounds good to me, once again, you are all organized and planning! I have been gone and now trying to catch up on everyone. And some where in all of this I need to post once! I am looking forward to next year, hope it is a little better than 2008. But all in all, I have been and will continue to be very blessed.

  10. I can't wait for the homeschool info. I need help to get that all organized and officially started. I guess I also feel intimidated in the kitchen. I don't really know how to just create! I would love to expand my repertoire!
    Thanks for blessing us daily.
