This post has just a little bit of everything in it. Keep reading as you might find something that actually interests you today!
First I want to start off my telling you about a very good friend of mines new business she just started. Lisa over at Stop and Smell the Chocolates is offering tea and coffee type gift packages. They are so cute. Check them out here. I'm so proud of her for taking the chance to step out and do something like this. Here are just a few of her goodies.
Be sure to stop in and check them out!
Second up is a giveaway!
No not mine lol. Keeping the Kingdom is giving away a $500.00 gift card to Wal-Mart! Who couldn't use that right now?
So head on over and check it out!
Third Up is an Award!
I know I know stop reading now if you're afraid I'll tag you lol. But this one is short and sweet so I have a little time to do it.
My most excellent friend Debra has gifted me with this. For some reason she doesn't think I have enough and I am honored to receive this from someone so fabulous as herself.
I am supposed to fess up to 5 addictions and then tag 5 fabulous people. Just 5? Hmmm.
My 5 addictions are:
1. Jesus 2. My husband 3. My kids 4. Blogging (DUH!) 5. Coffee; aka the Christian Drug of Choice! (Yes I admit it! I LOVE it!)
Now if you are afraid you are going to get tagged read no further. I won't bug you with an email I am just hoping on you visiting and getting busted on your own lol. But here are 5 fabulous bloggers aside from Debra.
1.Sophie Mae - she keeps me laughing. She has a very bright sense of humor which I love!
2. Lisa @ Stop and Smell the chocolates- I just want to hug her. I've really gotten to know her a bit better and I can tell she's someone I could just chat all day with!
3. My Best Friend Kathy- She is fabulous. We've been friends for 12 years now. Don't know what I'd do without her!
4.Patti- She has a very humble spirit and probably doesn't want any awards but that's tough because she has a lot to offer and I've valued her friendship over this past year and by golly she's getting this one!
5. My Daughter- She is a fabulous daughter and though her blog is blocked for anyone except personal invites she is still fabulous. Take my word for it!
I could go on and on with more fabulous women that I've grown to love but then you'd be here forever lol. Just know that if I take the time to stop by your blog at any time, I think you're fabulous! I also think your fabulous for reading mine lol. So now you are double fabulous!
Fourth Up is Homeschooling
I just wanted those of you that homeschool to know that I'm going to be gearing up again to be posting some things that we are doing, after Christmas. We are taking a break right now. But look for some encouragement and ideas from me come the first of the year!
Well I think that's it! Thanks for hanging in there with me!
Hugs to all you fabulous people!
Congrats on your gingerbread house win...and I can't wait to see your homeschooling ideas for the new year!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute tea cups and saucers. Congrats on your fab award. Your blog is fabulous! I hope one of us wins the walmart gift card!
ReplyDeleteKimmy,
ReplyDeleteA $500 Walmart card...awesome. I'm heading there next. And Lisa's stuff looks beautiful. You are such a sweet friend.
Happy Wednesday, my friend.
Aren't Lisa's baskets just so cute? She has done a really good job with them and I hope she does well with it too.
ReplyDeleteKIM-BER-LY!! I know, I know - you're Kim, but I felt I had to say that to add emphasis and I don't know your middle name - LOLOL!!
ReplyDeleteThis was such a sweet surprise - thank you so much for promoting my little business! I'm glad that people like the baskets. Whether they sell or not is up to the Lord, I suppose.
What a cute award - you TOTALLY deserve it!! And thank you for passing it to me! I have to confess addictions? Oh dear...
Excellent giveaway on an excellent blog that I regularly read!
Bravo to you for homeschooling and sharing your ideas! I have many friends that homeschool. If my son didn't go to his special small Christian school (it's the only one around here that we feel is truly dedicated to God's word and bringing up godly leaders to contend for the faith), I would homeschool him. And that is a possibility since the school is struggling financially. We'll see what the Lord has in store!
Have an excellent day, my fabulous friend!
HUGS.TO.YOU!!!
You know me, I'm a tea gal...so I'm definitely going to be stopping by Lisa's site to check out her gift baskets.
ReplyDeleteThanks also for the award and for your kind words. We've been friends through this great big cyber world for well over a year now, and all I can say is, like fine wine, our friendship has only improved in time. I value your encouragement and prayer support...and, yes, your wonderful goofy spirit!! I need you to lighten me up. (I would be giving this fabulous blog award right back to you!!)
I, too, have a wonderful daughter, who I would give this award to as well. How blessed we are to have teenage daughters who are also our dear friends. Not all women can say that. Praise God for the gift He has given us with the close relationships with our girls.
Enjoy your break from school. Since we just started November 1st, we aren't taking much time off until March. Yes, we'll take Christmas and New Year's (and any other days that Gary is off), but for the most part, we're just plugging along.
Enough rambling. Have a wonderful day.
Love in Christ,
Patti
Thanks so much for mentioning my giveaway! Your blog header is simply beautiful, so glad I stopped by!
ReplyDeleteHello sweet sister-friend,
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS on your award!
Bless you and "see" you around. :-)
Congrats on your award! Great giveaways - thanks for the links! Happy Homeschooling. I wish we had done it with Kristyn, but I didn't know anything back in the day....
