Hello everyone! Welcome to another edition of Show and Tell Saturdays, hosted by yours truly. This weeks theme is show and telling about something you collect, whether it be a big or small collection. I can't say that I collect much. And I really didn't think you'd want pictures of the dust I've been collecting all over the house so I came up with something else. My small salt and pepper collection. Now I know that some people "really" collect these and they can be worth some money. No, I buy things for the change of seasons so my table looks cute! LOL. I like useful collective things.
I have 4 1/2 sets of of salt and pepper shakers. Why the half you ask? Well my precious daughter dropped the pepper shaker of one of the sets. Let's see if you can tell which one! LOL.
If you can't, I'm going to be deeply concerned about you. Hee! Hee!
So here is my small but useful collection of shakers!
Don't you just love the flip flop set? I got those at a garage sale for .50 cents.

I'll try to join in on your show & tell. I collect Nutcrackers (I know...not practical at all but oh so cute) I've been wanting to post about a really special one I received a couple of months ago. So, this would be the perfect time to show & tell it.

ReplyDeleteOnce again, best laid plans have gone awry. Because Duller spent THREE HOURS doing an online job app last night, I was up later than expected finishing up my own stuff. So I overslept and got to the lieberry 2 hours later than planned. Now I have ONE hour to whiz-bang. Even with this super-fast connection, I need more time to watch veejos and listen to music and...

ReplyDeleteMan, I would love to participate, but I don't collect anything that is fun! Other than purses...and NO WAY am I showing that picture..it could come back to haunt me when I least expect it..!!!!! Love the flip flops!

ReplyDeleteI do like your salt & pepper shakers my friend! I have some that I like and am forcing myself not to start collecting them 'cause I will have nowhere to put them! I have a set that are little coffee grinders, a set of teapots, acorns on a leaf, and a bird hatching out of an egg. The other day I was at Target and had a super cute set in hand (a nest with 2 eggs inside), but I finally pried them out of my own hand and put them down - LOL! Then I stared longingly at them for a few minutes before going on my way, hee,hee. And now you went and made me start thinking about them again! Argh!!
And of course I have teapots and teacups! Oh, and I collect refrigerator magnets! That would have been a fun one to show. They are only locations - cities, states, countries, and places of interest (like the Cavern we went to a few days ago).
