A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22

Here's what I learned this past week!

Oh the lessons just keep pouring in! I'm not sure if I should be excited about that or not.
But like always, I know you really want to know what they are, so out of the goodness of my heart, I"ll share them with you.

This week I learned that....

1. ...as soon as you say that you aren't going to eat desserts except for special occasions, "special" occasions seem to arise more than normal all of a sudden! *sigh*

2. .....if I stay up past Midnight I will wake up like I've been drinking all night! AND I DON'T DRINK!

3. ....I can watch a clip of the comedian Brian Regan from my blog and laugh just as hard the 20th time as the 1st time.

4. ...if there are left over cookies, I'll eat them for breakfast! *sigh* NO willpower! But they go sooo good with coffee! It would be wrong not to do it.

5. ..girl-friends will take about 30 pictures of themselves trying to get a good shot, but you would NEVER see two guys sitting there with the camera taking self shots and worrying about if they look cute!

There you have it! Wisdom from the beach. Get from it what you can. Hee! Hee!

Jo-Lynne @ Musings of a Housewife is the host of this Meme if you'd like to share what YOU'VE learned this week.

BIG HUGS my friends!

  1. LOL! It isn't just you. My willpower has gone out the window lately. I see it off flying away...

  2. Yeah, usually all that men are concerned about in pictures of them is if their eyes are open......
Single men like to strike a pose with a nice looking girl to make themselves look even better!

    If you eat cookies for breakfast, just eat something healthy right after like an apple or banana and the guilt is virtually gone!! ( ;

  3. I have zero will power for anything with peanut butter!

  4. Important lessons as always my friend - especially about the cookies and desserts! I am scared to go on my trip for that very reason - we tend to go into "vacation" mode and want to eat all sorts of things that we normally don't. I MUST stay strong - LOL!!

I probably learned a few things last week, but I have forgotten them all! That's why I rely on lessons from you! :)

Big now-I-want-cookies-for-breakfast hugs to you!! :)

  5. Girl, you hit on a few that were along the lines of my post today...willpower and looking cute (well, not cute, but slimmer) in pictures! Thank goodness for digital cameras and not having to waste film and throw away pictures. lol

Oh, we will ever learn them all...I doubt it.

    ((hugs))
