Christmas In July! Get Ready!

Some of you just read the title, rolled your eyes and are now clicking out of here and that's okay. This is for those of you who got a little excited thinking about Christmas and all the excitement it brings.

I say it every year. I'm going to get a jump start on Christmas and then I never do. But this year is different. I've actually started making things now and you know what? I'm having so much fun!

So what is this all about? Well I know for a fact that Kathy and I are going to be showing you a little something Christmasy all next week. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. And none of it should involve you having to get anything out of the attic to participate! LOL!

I've also noticed on other blogs that they are doing a Christmas in July as well.
So why not get a little jump start on Christmas and join me next week!

OH Gee! Hmmm....Did I mention there would be a giveaway? Yuppers! And BOY is it cute.
(AND it's going to be tucked neatly in one of the posts so you might actually have to read them!) LOL!

See you Monday!

  2. I'm cringing at the thought of Christmas (and even Thanksgiving) and here's why. It means winter!!! We just got through what seems to have been an 8 month long winter (October through May), and I'm just all about heat and sunshine right now. (I'm ALWAYS about heat and sunshine!!)

Now...if we are able to move in the next couple months, I'll actually get excited about Christmas, because we'll be in a warmer climate AND we'll be able to have Christmas with family.

But even if you're posting Christmas, I will still be popping by, because, after all, you are my friend.

    Have a great weekend.

    Love,
    Patti

  5. Kim,

I love this idea! I might just have to incorporate it as well. I love the idea of tucking the giveaway into the post just to see how many people notice.

I used to do that when I left my employees voicemails and found out so many of them were deleting them before even hearing it. I started adding giveaways in the message and only those that listened and responded were rewarded, kinda like God in a way.

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat

  6. For us... Christmas in July means giving extra money away for people who are in need this time of the year.

I tuck things away all year... I'm behind, but I love to see what I've forgotten that I've bought.

    I liked this. :-)

  10. Maybe it's a southern thing..... cause us northerners associate Christmas with some bone chilling/fierce weather.

You aren't too far off with your preparation.
Even the stores in our capitalistic culture have put Halloween stuff out for sale already.
