Brain Dump!

Have you ever had so much going on in your brain that not even you can figure it out enough to write it down and sort it all out to make sense of it? Have you ever written a sentence that not even you could read it right the first time, yet didn't change it to make it any better? Do you throw commas in the middle of a long sentence just to give people a breather before they go on?
Yeah, me either.

I have so much going on in my noggin' right now that I can't make sense of any of it. There are so many ideas for my cooking blog, for homeschooling, there are appointments I need to make, chores to do, meals to prepare..etc. It all just gets scrambled in there. I need someone to pull all that information out, put it in a .pdf format so I can save it and print it off for later use. But what will happen is, I'll save it, forget about it, and then a year later find it in a dusty computer file labeled "DuH" and pretty much everything in it will be obsolete. I do this ALL the time with e-books that I buy. I recently started going through them and you want to know what my "real" problem is? I'm cheap! Yup! Tighter than two coats of paint when it comes to money. I don't want to print them out because ink is so expensive. So they just sit there in a folder. I might glance at them every once in awhile, but I hate sitting at the computer to read a book so I don't glance long. OY! Someone help me. Or just send me some ink. LOL!

Anyone else have issues today?
Go ahead and dump away! LOL! Dr. Kim is in the house!!!!

HUGS!

  7. LOL! Love your analogy of frugalness! LOL!

I'm cheap, too, as I do the same thing with ebooks. I have a bunch on my computer. :D

I can totally relate on needing something to take all the notes in my brain... :D

  8. Oh I know what you mean my friend!! I feel like that a LOT! Right now, I'm actually feeling pretty good 'cause I have a very detailed chore list for each day (Motivated Moms download but it has to be PRINTED - LOL), a list of skills to work on each month,a list of projects to complete each month, and a list of books to read each month! I also have son ready to go for school next week with only a minor item or two to get. This is SO unlike me!!!

Big when-I-feel-like-you're-feeling-I-end-up-taking-the-day-*off*-'cause-I-can't-stand-the-overwhelmed-feeling size hugs to you!! Have a lovely day my friend!! :)

  9. I HATE ebooks and e-magazines. I don't have a great quality printer, so, like you, I just download stuff and leave it sitting there. I've tried printing stuff out at Office Max, but at 10 cents a page, it's easy to drop $10 printing one book.

And I hate to read stuff like that on the computer.

So, for me, it's no more e-books. They become a huge waste of money for me.

Hope you're having a great day.

    Love,
    Patti

  11. I feel your pain! My brain is going numb from all the things it is trying to keep track these days. Oh, and don't even get me started on my ka-zillion computer files of projects. I'll never even read each one again, let alone actually DO the project! LOL. I have to say that I adore my Kindle that hubby got me for my birthday. I have been a reading machine with it. It's so handy and portable.

  12. Wish I could help you with all that but I am in the same boat wrestling with the need for an external hard drive that can organize all my DUH thoughts. A personal assistant who reads the DUH language to eloquently interpret my thoughts to organize them accordingly into where I want them. UGH! Waking up from dream land.....
    Reality check for me:
~God never gives me more than I can handle, but many times I do more than He wants me to.
~While I am cheap sometimes He just wants me to spend the funds HE has given me for _______ eventhough I think it is too much. SO HARD to do for me!
~ Then there is just that whole FUN verse about character.... Am I not a character enough without all the hard stuff? LOL!
James 1:2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

Maybe it is just a bit of beginning of school jitters? I pray that is what it is for us both! LOL!

    Hugs,

    T
