Fall is almost here and although it doesn't feel very close where we live, it's coming and I want to be ready!
Just last week I found out that Starbuck's brought back their Pumpkin Spice Latte. But as some of you Starbucker's know, it can get pretty expensive. So my good friend Lisa from Stop and Smell the Chocolates flew in from California (more on that later) JUST to help me make this video so we could demonstrate and give you the homemade version.
I know the video seems a little long but we did it with no editing. You'll just have to deal with a few giggles and some silliness. But those of you who visit my blog regularly, know that's a given here.
If you don't have time to watch the recipe is below. But for whatever reason it took this 4 hours to load so I would appreciate at least ONE person actually watching it and making it worth while. LOL!

Enjoy!
Pumpkin Spice Latte
3 cups hot milk
8 tsp sugar or to taste
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
8 ounces STRONG brewed coffee or espresso
Whipped Topping and a sprinkle of Pumpkin Pie Spice optional
Combine Hot milk, sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice in a blender and blend until frothy.
Pour the mixture into 4 mugs about 2/3 full. Pour 2 ounces coffee in each mug.
Garnish with whipped cream and pumpkin spice. (optional)
You may need to tweak this to your liking but we got it tasting REALLY close to the real thing.
I'm linking up with the Inspired Room. She's having a fall nesting party, so go check it out!
Have a FABULOUS day my friends!

ReplyDeleteI want to try this latte at home as well and I'm not sure, but I think you two may have had a little too much coffee before you filmed this video. So fun to see your funny self in person. Loved it!

ReplyDeleteI'm sitting here in Australia wishing I could be in the kitchen with your girls - it looked like such a hoot!!
ReplyDeleteThe recipe sounds great - it's hard for me to think of pumpkin as a sweet - we just have it as a savoury over here! Will have to see if I can find that spice anywhere.
Thanks for the recipe!
