I hope you had a lovely week.
How about some giggles today? If you’d like to join in the fun, feel free to link your family friendly funny up below. It can be a funny, picture, video, joke etc.
Now let’s spread some funny.
Oh these two comic strips CRACKED ME UP! I love being a homeschool family. LOL!
Have a FABULOUS Friday my friends!
That's so funny! I should try the "fire drill" sometime... when I'm baby sitting :-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, where did you get these?
These are hilarious! I LOVE the first one! That was so me! We were the "different" Homeschool family. Just the fact that we allowed our children to watch TV was a strike against us! But, apparently too many people didn't mind...I was elected President of our homeschool group 3 yrs in a row!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...I had a good laugh!
Haha, I love that second one! And really, both apply almost as well to public schooling moms, too. Even though our kids are out of the house 8 hours a day, at least a short break still somehow always seems necessary.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't even get me started on comparisons... :P
That's funny! I heard a comedian talking about his homeschool experiences. He said it was great until Prom night...when they crowned the family bulldog Prom king instead of their son. Oiy!
ReplyDeleteOh you crack me up! Now we know what the kids are doing when you are on FB!! Poor little lambs ~ if they only knew ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday my friend! I didn't think you were posting so I got mine up a little late.
Have a Blessed Weekend! Love you
Hi Kim, Loved this but I have one for you since I was a homeschooling mom too.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you call a homeschool mom who talks to herself? A Parent-Teacher conference. Since I often talk to myself I always used this.
Hugs, Noreen
Just as long as your kiddos aren't standing out in that RAIN...LOL!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I can just picture you doing the fire drill, locking the doors for good measure!
ReplyDeleteEven the kids wanted me to read these cartoons over and over to them. Too funny! I think homeschooling humor is the bomb!
ReplyDeleteAs you know, my homeschooling days ended a year and a half ago when my second child finished high school. But I can still relate!!
ReplyDeleteI especially relate to the first one, because we were always "different." We didn't do a traditional school calendar (schooled through the summer, then took September and October off). We also were a Charlotte Mason/living literature family, and people always wanted to compare curriculums with us. And on and on it went...we were different, and in those days, I wasn't all that comfortable walking to the beat of my own drum (as I am now). So, I was always nervous how we would appear to other homeschooling families. Now, though, I know that one size of anything does NOT fit all.
Love you, my friend.
Patti
I saw those on FB - quite funny!! You always find the good laughs!
ReplyDeleteBig I'm-likin'-the-fire-drill-idea-and-I-might-use-it-tomorrow-HA size hugs to you!! Love you friend!!! :)
