House Stuff!

Well it’s almost been a year this coming November 1, since we moved into our new home. It was a blessing to move into a home that didn’t require a ton of maintenance like our first home did.

We have almost completely finished painting the interior rooms with the exception of our office, the kids bathroom and our closet (hold that thought).

Last night my hubby unclogged 16 years worth of someone else's nar nar from our bathroom drains. They had been running slow since we moved in and he was pretty over it. Did I mention he hates plumbing?  Maybe it’s because he’s an electrician by trade. I don’t know.  But regardless, he did it and they drain great now.

This is his latest project. Our closet!

Empty as can be!

Well except for this sexy handy man, A.K.A. my hubbalicious, starting the remodel.

We’ve never had a “real” walk in closet before and we’re just figuring out what we want to do with it. One thing we do know is that it holds A LOT of “stuff”.  We know this because when we were taking EVERYTHING out of it we looked back and thought, “How did this all fit in there?”

Just look at our bathtub.

And then there’s this.

I’m not showing you any more cause it’s embarrassing.

So that’s our (his) latest home project. I will of course give you full after pictures once it’s done. I wouldn’t be a blogger if I didn’t. In fact I was all in a huff when I realized my hubby had emptied half the closet contents before I was able to get a truly embarrassing before picture and he’s like, “I’m not putting it back.” LOL!

Have a lovely day my sweet friends!

  4. OOOOOOO I can't wait!! I LOVE your reveal pics! I actually forgot to take a pic of my buffet before I did the change. It would be embarrassing if I told just how many times I have considered putting it back for my blog pictures hahahahaha.

    Love ya!

  6. Oh I am a little jealous of your lovely walk-n closet my friend!! We've had them in past houses, but not this one, *sniff.* Of course, I couldn't refuse to buy the house only for that reason - LOL! We do have 2 closets in the master bedroom so plenty of room for clothes, but too hard to get in & out of and hard to store other things.

Can't wait to see the finished closet - I know your hubby will do a fabulous job!

Big don't-you-love-how-we-still-say-*we*-are-doing-a-project-even-when-our-hubbies-do-most-of-the-work-LOL size hugs to you!! Not saying you're not workin' too my friend! Love you! :)
