I’ll admit, I’ve got the heart of a crafter but the attention span of a two year old sometimes. I think that’s why projects get started but never finished. I swim in a sea of unfinished projects.
But lately I’ve been trying REALLY hard to finish them. I have a bad habit of getting things at garage sales for “later” projects and then they end up lying around for weeks, mocking me, taunting me until I either do what I intended to do with them or put them in the closet where I won’t see them.
Here is one thing that I finished recently and I’ll be sharing other things as the weeks go on because I think they would make great gifts for Christmas or even birthdays.
You all remember the earring/necklace holder I made my daughter right?
Well here it is in case you didn’t get to see it.
The poor girl almost didn’t get this because I wanted to keep it for myself.
BUT on a recent garage sale trip I found these two small plastic frames that I thought would be perfect for my own earring holders.
And I was right. I LOVE how they turned out and I might actually change my earrings every now and again now that they’re assessable.
Aren’t they cute?
I just spray painted them and hot glued the lace to the back and Voila! Not only cute but decorative as well.
I think this would make a great gift. Next time you’re out garage sale hunting, be on the look out for some cute frames. I only paid .50 for these.
HAVE A LOVELY DAY MY SWEET FRIENDS!

I do know what you mean about starting things and not finishing them...I'm that way with books. There are just so many wonderful books (or in your case crafts) you want to read/do, so you try to do them all at once.
ReplyDeleteThose jewelry holders are beautiful. Did you invent that idea? Or did you see it somewhere? It's very creative....and pretty.
Have a lovely day.
Love and hugs,
Patti
