Yesterday our future SIL proposed to our daughter (with our blessing of course) on the beach. I think a lot of people were shocked because we’ve really kept this under wraps.
We believe in going through a very strong process of getting to know him, his character, his ability to provide etc. before even giving him permission to court her. In fact we joke about how he “dated” my husband first. LOL! But he has proven himself worthy of our precious daughter and they are now officially engaged.
I’m so excited for them both and I pray that God blesses their relationship more and more each day.
But seriously, when did I get old enough to have a daughter who is old enough to get married? Oy!
