Grilling and Campfire Cooking Cookbook Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Kimberly.

I love this cookbook. It’s going down as one of my favorites in this series of cookbooks.

My intent was to make and post more than two recipes but life got in the way and I’m just now able to even offer it up in a giveaway. But I hope you do enjoy the two that I’ll be linking to later on in this post.

First off let’s take a look at the Table of Contents.

If you’re into camping and grilling or even if you’re not, you are going to enjoy this cookbook. So many new and exciting recipes. Like Tangy Peach-Glazed Chicken, Summertime Goulash, Snippy Snappy Coleslaw and so many more.

Here are the two recipes that I tried. They both received thumbs up from the family.

Black Bean Turkey Burgers with Avocado & Onion Slaw

Black Bean Turkey Burgers

Butter Pecan Ice Cream

Butter Pecan Ice Cream And if you want even more yummy recipes from this cookbook. Check out the Gooseberry Patch website and Pinterest Board.

One of my favorite things about these Gooseberry Patch cookbooks are the handy tips on almost every page. For instance, I loved this tip: An old oven rack makes a handy grate for cooking over a campfire. Prop it on several logs or large stones. Seriously, what a great idea. Or how about this idea. Pull out your oversize coffee mugs when serving soups, stews and chili ‘round the campfire. They’re just right for sharing hearty servings, and the handles make them so easy to hold onto.

So who wants to win a copy of this wonderful cookbook? Well I’m going to make it easy on ya. Just answer this question.

What is your favorite thing to grill?

This giveaway is open to U.S and Canada only. Giveaway ends on Friday, May 16th 2014.

  18. Hey, stranger! I don't go on Facebook very often, but when I have been on there, I haven't seen you around. Have you disengaged?

Anyhow, since I hadn't seen you on there, I decided to pop by your blog and see if you were still blogging. Looks like you've stepped back a bit. I know how that goes, as I've done it myself on numerous occasions. I have just recently (this past weekend) decided to jump into blogging again.

Hope all is well with you. I've missed you!

    Love,
    Patti
