MKB TOC  The “Kids in the Kitchen” section has some fun recipes to make with the kids. You know, ones they will actually eat. *smile* 

I also love the the variety of recipes in this one. So many quick and easy on the go recipes for when you’re in a hurry. Which seems to be me these days.

And as always they have all those lovely hints and tips on almost every page.  Make sure you take the time to read those because some of them are life changing, like totally. MKS Open1

    My Mom made homemade stroganoff that was so delicious! It was soft, meaty, and full of great taste. I wish I knew how to make it.

    For me, it has to be tater tot hotdish. Nothing says "I grew up in Minnesota" more then that. I can make it, it's not hard, but I swear it tastes better when my mom makes it.

    My favorite dish my mom made when I was growing up was Jello Party Salad. She would whip Jello and fold in Dream Whip, drained crushed pineapple, chopped nuts, and grated longhorn cheese.

    My mom makes what we call Jigsaw--you take hamburger or sausage..fry it with potatoes,yellow squash and onion soup mix...delicious! :)
