Happy first day of Autumn everyone. If you’re like me you get excited about this time of year. I start thinking about the holidays and all the fun, excitement and anticipation that comes along with it.
So on this first day of Fall I went ahead and celebrated by making myself a Pumpkin Cheesecake Smoothie and lighting a fall scented candle. I’ve also been busy making these cute little crocheted pumpkins. I’ve been handing them out to friends and neighbors. They are so easy to whip up. I’ve made about 6 already. Here’s the pattern that I’ve been using in case you want to give it a shot.
Tomorrow my hubby will get down my Fall decor box and I’ll start decorating the house.
In other news…….the bathroom is finally done. It looks amazing. My hubbalicious did such a wonderful job. I’ll be putting together a post for that in the future.
Meanwhile here’s the recipe to that pumpkin cheesecake smoothie I made. Cause believe me, you’ll want to try this.
Pumpkin Cheesecake Smoothie
1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese
2 oz. cream cheese (I used 1/3 reduced fat)
2-3 TBS. pumpkin puree’ (Depends on how pumpkiny you want it)
1/4 tsp. pumpkin spice seasoning
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup cashew or almond milk or regular is fine too.
Sweetener of choice. I use the Trim Healthy Mama Sweet Blend so it will be a different amount if you’re using real sugar. So sweeten to taste. If you’re using regular sugar I’d start out with a TBS and then go from there. I use about a tsp and a half of the Sweet Blend.
8- 10 ice cubes.
Directions:
Put all the ingredients except the ice cubes in the blender and start blending. Once all is incorporated start adding your ice cubes one at a time until thickened.
Enjoy!!!
Well that’s it for now. I hope to be posting a little more. Of course I’ve said that before and then life happens and yada yada yada. LOL!
Love you all.
Kim
Kim, I'm so glad to see a post from you. I have missed you. Actually, I miss the way blogging used to be back in the day. Too many other social media opportunities have taken that away.
ReplyDeleteThose pumpkins are absolutely adorable. I'm sure the recipients love them. I have no idea how to crochet, though, so I won't be making them.
So glad the bathroom renovation is complete. I look forward to seeing pictures.
Have a beautiful day.
Love,
Patti
