I've been tagged and more award love

Lisa over at Stop and Smell the Chocolates has blessed me with this Brillante Weblog award. I'm so flattered by the awards I've been given, I'm starting to think you all are getting desperate lol. I don't have time right now to nominate anyone . (I think I've nominated everyone on my side bar lol). She also has tagged me for a 7 things about me tag. So that I can do. Here it goes...

....7 uninteresting things about me ha ha

1. If you couldn't already tell I have a sense of humor. I laugh a lot. Laughter is a great stress relief for me. I am a walking side show. I actually started writing a comedy routine one time. Like that would ever happen. I'm also one of the shyest people I know....at first....until you get to know me lol. Wow that was a long first one wasn't it?
2. I don't like spiders. For a very comical spider story go here. Some of you have already read it but for those of you who haven't and may need a chuckle, you might want to. Spiders have a place in this world and that place is not my house.
3. I am a cookbook junkie. I couldn't possibly make every recipe in every cookbook before I die, so why do I feel the need to get new ones? Can you hear it? The sound of the hardcover opening for the first time...........ah.......ooh.....okay I need help. On to 4.
4. When I was a little girl I would chase my older brother's friends and try to kiss them lol. I tried that in my older teens too but they quit running and it wasn't as fun lol.......o-k-ay moving on to 5.....
5. I've learned more being a SAHM and homeschooling my kids then anything I learned in school. I guess it's because I'm not worried about my hair and my clothes and who's dating who and who got suspended and all the stuff that comes with High School. The one thing that benefited me was the typing class I took in 10th grade. For if I hadn't I would not be blogging right now as it would take me forever to get down everything that I want to say. Though on the other hand I'd have to keep it short.Hmm.Nah!
6. I self taught myself to build our family's web page. There were times I felt so stupid I had to walk away from it and come back with a fresh mind. It's a lot of work building a website and my brain was not happy ha!ha!
7. I'm sick of painting. We have officially painted the whole inside of our house in the past month with the exception of our daughter's room who's was painted last and didn't need it. I may have pictures of that tomorrow, I'm not sure.
Well there you have it. An award and a tag completed. Now I'm supposed to tag 7 people huh? Okay here are my tags. If Lisa tagged the same people that I do then I'm sure you only have to do it once.
Lisa J @ My New Thing to Do
Erica @ Amazing Adventures Await
Kathy @ Blessed Beyond Imagination
Kristi @ KiKi's Corner
flmom @ The Narrow Path
Donna @ Cottage Days and Journeys
Karen @ Faith of a Single Mom
I'm counting on you all stopping by and seeing your names as I don't have time to go to each one right now.
Blessings my friends.

  1. Good morning, sweet friend. It sounds like you have been very busy! I'm thankful the tropical/hurricane is over. Thanks for the prayers this weekend. I will post more about the event later this week. Thanks for the tag. I was tagged last week for 6 things, will that do? Have a great day!

  2. I just love reading about your real life adventures...knowing that the Christian walk is such an intregal part of it all. The chasing boys part was funny and I am to new school supplies like you are to new cookbooks. There is just something about it. I will have to think on the 7 things...after my 100, people might get sick of me! Have a great day.

  4. Kim, just a guess...but I have a feeling you're going to get tagged over and over again. You just bless too many people not to get a chain reaction. The more I learn about you, the more I like you. You're a blessing.

  6. I loved reading the "un"interesting things about you. I have an elephant phobia, LOL. I'll take a spider over an elephant anyday, and I'm not too fond of spiders.

You wrote, "The one thing that benefited me was the typing class I took in 10th grade. For if I hadn't I would not be blogging right now as it would take me forever to get down everything that I want to say." That's one thing that benefited me, too! I'm so glad I took typing! Woo-hoo for us, huh?!

    Congrats on your award!

I'm strolling through my little "blog roll" of cyber friends to find out the latest and greatest, and *boom* there is my name in your post! Golly gee, that is the second award I have gotten today and I am BLOWN away! Thank you, sweetie!

I can tell that you have a wild and crazy sense of humor, and that is why we love you so! I can be having a bad day, but my spirits are lifted after a visit with you. Keep on blogging and I'll keep on reading!
