Thankful Thursday- Hope

Romans 12:12 - rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

The last couple of days I've been trying to give my blog a face-lift only to almost destroy this one in the process and have most everything deleted. As I was HOPING that I didn't permanently delete everything off of this blog I can honestly say I was not rejoicing in the process. Blogger started giving me error messages and I couldn't back up my blog. Needless to say I wasn't very patient in my trial but under my breath I was constantly praying , please Lord don't let this crash lol! So I obviously need to work on this verse a little bit more. Trying to revamp my blog probably isn't the best way to do it right now. I think I'll start small and HOPE that my kids don't wake up early LOL!
So to finish this off with some Thankfulness here is my short list.
I am thankful for:
My blog not crashing.
People actually reading my blog.
People who comment on my blog.
People who return to my blog.
People who have my blog as one of their favorites to read. (You guys rock!)

Okay I'm sorry. Not very mushy and gushy but hey I started out with a nice verse. You didn't think I'd be able to end that way did you?
If you want a good mushy one read last Thursdays....it's all about my hubbalicious husband lol!
I am very thankful for many things but seeings how I just got done messing with my blog, this is what was top of the ol' noggin this morning.
Thank you for reading and stopping by!
Blessings,

  2. I'm sorry! I was encouraging you to have fun and try something new with your blog. I didn't dream it would cause my friend such an effort and be such a chore.

I'm thankful for you and our friendship. I wrote about blogging buddies today on my blog too. I had to mull it over in my sleep all night because this world is full of people who don't blog and they just can't understand what a blessings this is! They are missing out.

  3. Sweetie, I totally understand! I was trying to get my blog prettier and messed it up too. I got discouraged, rested, and then tried it again. I finally got it done.

I don't know what template you have because you have 3 columns. From what I understand, if you want to use thecutestblogontheblock.com, you have to switch it to "minima" (maybe "minima stretch" will work too) before you put in your html code for a page element. Unfortunately, that will change you to a 2 column format instead of 3. So I would imagine your stuff would still be there, but just scrambled. Also, changing the template messes up your fonts and font colors, so those you have to reset those too.

My trouble happened because the background I wanted has a flaw in it and the code was not working. Once I picked another one, it worked fine. Your problem is more complicated though.

Perhaps someone else with a 3-column format can help you.

Bottom line is this - I love visiting your blog and I am thankful that I found your site!

  4. Try creating a new blog (an unpublished one) that you can mess around with w/o crashing this one. Once you have the design you like you can copy and paste the code over here.

Been reading your comments on other blogs, and thought I'd stop over and say Hi.
