A Thank You and a Tag

First I want to thank Laura Lee from Laura Lee's Lifesong for her choosing a second runner up for her giveaway. I'm not sure if she "really" intended to but I put up such a stink about not winning anything that I think she may have felt sorry for me lol. She sent me a book that she is one of the writers in. I just got it the other day but skipped write to one of her writings and was truly blessed. The book is called Women of Passions. I believe it will bless your socks off. So Laura Lee thank you so much for letting your son keep picking names out of the hat and mine being second lol. I am truly thankful for this book and can't wait to keep reading it.

Now, I've been tagged by Debra at Clothed with Scarlet. If you haven't been by to say hi to her she is a sweet sweet woman. I believe you will be blessed by her greatly.
Okay here we go:
. .The rules say that I list 5 things about these 5 things that are about me. And, then I have to "tag" 5 people. So, here it is folks....The Five Tag

Lisa J.from My New Thing to Do- She freely admits she spends to much time on the computer so I thought I would give her something more to do lol.

Laura Lee from Laura Lee's Lifesong- She may not do it and that's okay. Just send it to me in an email so I can learn these riveting things about you lol.

Laurie Ann from A Magnolia's Heart Beats- This gal has such a sweet spirit about her. I'd love to know more about her.

Sophie from Shabach the Rock- She cracks me up with her spirit. I want to know more about her too.

Donna from Cottage Days and Journeys- She's been a lot of places. I have post cards to prove it lol. I would love to see her answers to these questions.

I hope you enjoyed this little tidbit of information about me. It's Saturday so go out and play!

Blessings to you!

  1. Oh I don't mind being tagged and I do spend way too much time at the computer. It is the tagging of others that I dread, not knowing if they like it or not. But like you, I love learning new things about new found friends.

  3. Oh, I wish you were a millionaire! I would love a bloggy retreat! I hope I'm invited! ;) Also, you give me hope with cooking. I'm not very good right now, but I'd like to be!

  4. What fun to learn these things about you. Have you ever posted the recipe for homemade granola bars? I'd sure love to make them, as I really like granola bars (especially chewy ones), but I rarely buy them as they're not very economical, plus they're loaded with corn syrup and preservatives.

Ten years ago I was still living in Florida. While I enjoy having the ability to experience seasons where I'm living now, I miss living where we have family. I think I'd move back in a heartbeat...just because family means more to me than the weather. Plus, I'd get to meet you.

    Have a lovely day,
    Patti

  5. Kim, You are so WELCOME for the book, and you really were the second runner up. Ask my son! ;) I pray you are blessed by the book. Definitely get to the others, because I am the green one in the book. The other authors are phenomenal!

As for the tag, you crack me up! You know me SO WELL! You already have me pegged as someone who may or may not respond. LOL. How perceptive you are. I will definitely try to do this, okay? I'm at least one tag behind, and I need to do that one on Tues or Wednesday, but after that, maybe this one. I'll definitely email you if I can't work it in! ;)

You are one of the most fascinating people I've ever met, and I just love getting to know you better.

  6. Just had to leave another comment. Your talking about 10 years ago has really got me thinking about 1998. That was the year we took the best vacation of our lives. We went to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and did all kinds of touristy things---like horseback riding, gem stoning, and fishing at a trout farm. We also took a drive on Tennessee Highway 321 that we still talk about to this day. It was such a hoot!! It was a spectacular vacation in the most beautiful area of our country (my opinion). If anyone lives close enough to visit there, I highly recommend you do so. You will fall in love!

    Blessings,
    Patti

  8. Kim,

I so loved learning these things about you. I see I am not the only one who is gleaning from your cooking and for some reason that makes me feel so much better.

A bloggy retreat..now, that's what I'm talking about! And you would probably make us those granola bars because you are such a sweetie! And the cabin in the mountains...we are soul sisters...we go at Christmas time to TN and stay at a cabin in the mountains...I love it! Beautiful!

Congrats on the book from Laura Lee..I love her too, however I must admit, I feel silly...I actually asked her...are you a writer, once, because I did not know and she just is sooo good! And I love her smile too! Wish I had known that whining trick would have worked...I'll try that at her next giveaway. Ok, this is probably the longest comment in history...
((hugs)) & blessings to you today!
