I thought you'd had enough.....

My dear friend Lisa over at Stop and Smell the Chocolates has tagged me. Now I thought for sure you all got way to much information the last time I was tagged! But you obviously didn't get enough torture and are coming back for more. So here you go, 6 MORE things about me. You know I'm really not that interesting and it's getting hard. Hence the weird things that are coming out lol. I'm getting desperate ha ha!

1. My profile picture was from a photo shoot that my best friend Kathy and I did for our husbands. I haven't worn the hat since! Phew! I am so glad to get that off my chest. I should post a real profile picture of me standing in the kitchen with my hair in a bun and my apron on lol.

2. I never wanted kids when I was younger. I didn't babysit. People just automatically assumed that when you turn 13 you would "naturally" want to babysit. Well there was nothing "natural" about it for me lol. I was the baby and had never even been around kids, so I think that had a lot to do with it. But if the pay was BIG enough, I'd do it! Oh yeah, Money talked loud back then lol. But now I have 3 of the most wonderful kids and I don't know what I'd do without them. But I still don't want to watch yours lol.

3. I played Hacky Sack for the first time when I was 38 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. Yup picture that. A six foot woman with an extremely large belly kicking a hacky sack around with her husband. Oh yeah, we got it on video. It's a must see if you are ever at my house!

4. As you all know, I'm a people person lol. I will actually go out of my way to pick up my best friend Kathy to go somewhere just so I'm not alone and we can have more time to talk about stuff. And we talk about some stuff, let me tell you.

5. I think I'm actually an 18 year old girl trapped inside this 38 year old body lol. Someone needs to tell me to stop trying to do the things I used to. Like cartwheels, and head banging. You know when the music is rockin and you just gotta do that hair flinging thing, ( got a stiff neck from that one one time and couldn't move for 3 days lol.) And things like racing my daughter to prove I'm still faster before stretching and warming up for 10 mins first and then paying for it the next day with soar muscles. (I'm still faster by the way) And what's with these gray hairs? Oh that's another post I'm afraid.

6. I'm adopted. I'm not sure if I've posted that or not. It makes for pretty funny pictures as my parents and other siblings are around 5'3-5'5 and I'm 6 foot tall lol. I probably should sit down in front somewhere lol. I think that's why I'm such a nut. I'm the baby of this family but was the first born of my birth mother. No wonder I walk around in a daze sometimes lol. Hey it's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
Well there you have it. MORE mind blowing things about me you didn't know yesterday!

  1. Still planning on emailing you soon. Ds1 was better and is now worse.

I hear you on the babysitting. I never babysat growing up and still don't want to. I have a couple of times a few years ago and was very uncomfortable about the whole thing.

  2. You are so efficient - you get a tag and you post it right away! Impressive! I love your 6 things though I was really surprised to hear that you are a people person - HA!

Love your ideas on what we can do together. I think we should add eating some sugary cereal while doing the baking though. :)

  4. Oh my goodness! We are SO much alike. I about did a cartwheel (without stretching first) when I read #2. I didn't want kids either. I was an only child and was frankly freaked out by other kids. I'm still not great with other's kids but I do my best. :)

And I'm not adopted but we adopted our youngest and her bio mom is 6 ft. tall. I am 5'2". She is going to tower over me.

Loved this post!! Thanks for sharing. xoxo Ang

  8. I'm kinda amazed to lern how many of your readers (me included) didn't want kids. I never did the baby-sitting gig, eiher, though I did work in the church nursery very briefly. I like kids who are already housebroke. 8-]

    I totally relate to the trapped 18yo, as well, only in different ways... and my real # is just a tad higher. 8-}

Oh, and I'm not adopted, but always wished I would be. (*;^)

  10. I Love #5!! My girls remind me that I'm not a teenager all the time..LOL.

They do think it's funny though when we put on the radio station with the music I grew up with and I can sing all the words.. they LOL at the music, but they have fun watching me..

  11. Kim, I love your sense of humor! This post was great--revealed great, crack-me-up stuff, especially the being so tall compared to your family.

  12. I'm a day behind, so I'm only just reading this post today. Yesterday, I had a hair color appt., and I had it done by a gal I know who is in cosmetology school. Going to the school is WAY cheaper, but it also means that you have to have everything she does checked by an instructor. My appt. was for noon, and I didn't leave until 5, then I had to battle traffic home, plus make 2 stops on the way. Needless to say, I didn't get to read any blogs yesterday. And to think I posted yesterday about being out of the house!!!

Anyhow, I knew you were tall, but I didn't know you were 6 feet. Are you exaggerating a bit? Or are you really that tall? And, yes, I CAN see you playing hacky sack, pregnant and all. It sounds exactly like you.

    Love,
    Patti
