Useful Thanksgiving Links

Okay I've decided that this week is dedicated to Thanksgiving related things.
I found some great links to some fun and free things.

This one is a free pdf download of a Thanksgiving Turkey Cookbook Activity Book. It looks really fun for the kids and some turkey recipes for the Moms.

This next link takes you to a neat Turkey based lesson plan. In case you want to get a little learning in this week.

Do you need to send a Thanksgiving Day E-card? Well here's the link to that.

First time making a turkey? Have this link handy. It's the Butterball Hotline. (Debra you may need to put this on your speed dial my friend lol.)

First time carving a turkey. Let this butcher show you how it's done! Turkey Carving Video!

Well there's a little bit of everything here. I hope you find these useful.
Have a most excellent Tuesday my friends.
BIG HUGS!!

  3. Kim,

I said it and read it at the same time! "I'm putting that on speed dial"!! lol

Actually, I'm just coming to your house...these people can fend for themselves! lol

I think it's too late...my mother in law comes in tonight...my sister in law tomorrow, my daughter tomorrow...and thus it begins...! I'm leaving a note saying "I'll be at Kim's"..lol

I met our friend, Kelly at Our Family Ramblings...isn't that great! She is just a cutie pie and her little girl is too precious...I squeezed her so hard and her little girl still waved hi to me..didn't cry...oh so cute!

    Hugs to you, sweet friend!

By the way, I put my bookworm thing up on Monday - not sure if you saw it - I knew you would get a laugh from it.

  7. Thanks for the links. We will be at a friends house this year for thanksgiving so I only have to bake a pie or two to bring. WooHoo! Actually, I have family coming in from Minnesota in mid-December and so I plan on making a full turkey meal on Dec 13, kind of a post-Thanksgiving/pre-Christmas Feast with the family. I'll be brining my turkey for the first time this year. I'm nervous to try this but I've only heard good things about brined turkeys. I plan to post my experience on my blog and hopefully photos of the process.

  8. Looks like you have it all covered. How's the apron coming? I thought of you last night while I was buying fabrics to make several for gifts.

    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

  9. You always have the best links to share with your bloggy friends. I'll look into some of these later today...but not the turkey carving video...that is Gary's domain, and he's not about to give it up.

    Thanks so much for sharing.

    Love,
    Patti
