Calling all Small Business Owners

So I was thinking about something the other day. I'm sure there is probably somebody doing something similar out there somewhere but I don't know about, so in my mind it's my idea and I'm the only one doing it or thought about it. Phew! With that said, I was thinking of the state of our economy and how there are so many of us who are trying to help make ends meet by starting up small businesses on the web. I would like to showcase them right here and promote them to get the word out. Depending on how many I get from you all I may promote one a day or all in one post. I will definitely keep the links handy on my side bar for people to stumble upon and peruse at all time.
So if you would like to have your business promoted a little bit here on my blog please send me an email at goofyhappysilly (at) bellsouth (dot) com. All businesses must be family oriented and safe for all eyes. Give me the Name and URL of your business and a little summary of what you sell or what it's about. Or if you have any other money making ideas to share please do so as well and I will post those here and promote them and that way we can help support each other in an economy where Wal-Mart has pretty much monopolized the entire country.
How does this sound?
I'll give this a week and see how many I get and start promoting them next week.
Have a great day!!
BIG Hugs!

  6. Hi there!
A friend of mine, Luanne Deboth, told me about your idea to feature small businesses on your web - so nice of you! I just started a web-based business/ministry in December of 2008. Please check out my site at www.christiani-tea.com. We are tea with a higher purpose. Enjoy! If you'd like to email me through the site, I'll send you out a sample just for fun.
    Have a blessed day!
    Chris

  7. So sorry you're sick today!

I do not have a business, but I have an idea...if anyone is interested in becoming a freelance writer, you can build your resume' by volunteering articles for some of the bigger websites like The Heart of the Matter Online, or Internet Cafe' Devotions...or any other site with a lot of traffic.
After that, you'll have some experience under your belt and be able to offer your writing for a few bucks or so. ;)

  8. My friend, I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well! I pray that you get better quickly. Seems like I should send you a package or something...:)

I love your idea of promoting businesses! Have to think if I have any ideas for myself. I like Christin's idea about writing.

And where are you blog of the week at?? As your Top Commentator, I'm supposed to be informed of these things, aren't I?? :)

    Big Monday hugs to you!!

  9. That's a great idea. Actually it was a fellow blogger who asked me if I sold cards with my photographs on them which gave me a great idea. I have an etsy shop and will be adding my cards to it.
    Thanks!
