Oh Yum!

I feel it is my duty to my bloggy friends to share something when I find something that is worth sharing. Now this isn't going to appeal to everyone because I know not everyone drinks coffee but this being my last post before I UNPLUG on FRIDAY I thought I would go out with a caffeinated buzz!
I bought this coffee yesterday. It was on sale and I'm all about sales.
Here it is.
Now usually when you buy something that says Caramel Mocha or Vanilla Hazelnut, it smells really good when you open it but as soon as you grind and brew it it tastes nothing like that smell. It taste just like, well, plain ol' coffee. Who wants that? Ew! I stopped using the flavored creamers years ago as I became a label reader and well hydrogenated anything just isn't good for you, so with that said I have missed the yummy flavors that made coffee taste like anything but coffee. Hi, I'm Kim and I like foofy coffee. So I bought this coffee yesterday and just ground some and brewed it and guess what? It tastes just like coffee! No, I'm kidding. It actually tastes like caramel mocha! Yes you can actually taste it. All I add is a little half and half and very little sugar and the taste is still there. Go figure! Aren't you excited? Aren't you glad you stopped by?
I'm hoping this little caffeinated post keeps you going until Saturday.
Remember I'm unplugging tomorrow. *sigh* I'll miss you all! Don't forget about me! I'll be fine, REALLY!
Come back for Friday Funnies on Saturday. I'm going to need a laugh, I just know it! I'm going to pre-post today so it goes up at 12:01 am on Saturday so you will be able to link up early.
I feel like rambling on because as you might know by now I'm UNPLUGGING tomorrow. Did I mention that already? Wanna come over? I'm going to have some time on my hands! LOL. Okay I'm done.
SEE YOU SATURDAY!!
BIG GIANT UNPLUGGED HUGS TO YOU ALL!

  3. I have a feeling your phone bill is going to suffer tomorrow, lol! If I lived closer, I'd come over and drag you to the refuge. (Does your dh hunt hogs?)

Anyhow, I'm not a coffee drinker - though I do love to wander through Fresh Market and sniff all the wonderful flavours - but DS might like your new discovery. Wonder what other flavours they have. I don't think he's real big on caramel.

    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

  4. Now that sounds like some good coffee my friend that I could handle (since I'm more like a "put a splash of coffee in that cream, please" kind of gal) - caramel and mocha together, yum? Where are you shopping 'cause I need to be there!!

I'm worried about your unpluggedness - I hope you will survive - LOLOL!!! Wouldn't surprise me one bit if I see another post from you before tomorrow! :)

Just had another thought that made me laugh - something totally blog-worthy is probably going to happen to you tonight or tomorrow morning! It's just one day my friend - you can do it!

Big Yummy Caramel Mocha Hugs to you today and some extra Unplugged Hugs to get you through tomorrow! :)

  5. Hey, here's something you could do tomorrow. I JUST found out there's a new movie coming out tomorrow about Arthur Blessitt. If you're not familiar with the name, he has spent the last 40 years carryng a 12-foot cross around the world.

And now I have to unplug this puter and hit the grocery store. Think I'll pick up a copy of Come What May, as well. Which reminds me, I watched The Ultimate Gift last night. Have you seen it?

    Love ya loads, sweet thang!
    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

  10. Ok, you must tell me where this is on sale! I know hubby just bought some of this brand, but it's not favored. I remember his was a red bag - I think it's a dark roast. He normally buys the 2.5lb. bags of organic coffee beans at Sam's, but they've been out of stock for weeks.

  14. Hope you had a good day unplugging. I'm thinking about starting to make ALL Sundays an unplug day...

The coffee sounds yummy.. but my FAV is the BOCA Java I have listed on my blog. It's made right here in FL and they ship it the same day they flavor the beans.. and it cost the same as the store.. I've been hooked for over 2 years now.

My DH says that since I rarely get my hair cut and I don't get my nails done or stuff like that.. I get to be a Boca Java Coffee junkie :-)

    Have a great weekend!
