“Excerpts From The Cat’s Daily Diary”

Day 283 Of My Captivity.

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little
dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat,
while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing
that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the
mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional
piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another
house plant.

Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving
around their feet while they were walking almost
succeeded; must try this at the top of the stairs. In
an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile
oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit
on their favorite chair; must try this on their bed.

Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless
body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am
capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts.
They only cooed and condescended about what a good
little cat I was. Hmmm, not working according to plan.

There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices.
I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However,
I could hear the noise and smell the food. More
importantly I overheard that my confinement
was due to MY power of “allergies.” Must learn what
this is and how to use it to my advantage.

I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and
maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and
seems more than happy to return. He is obviously
a half-wit. The bird on the other hand has got to be
an informant, and speaks with them regularly. I am
certain he reports my every move. Due to his current
placement in the metal room, his safety is assured.
But I can wait, it is only a matter of time. . . .

Have a great day my friends!!
BIG HUGS!!

  10. This was hysterical. Yes that is probably what my cat was thinking. They are such strange creatures. I loved the dog part too. So true. That is just what a dog does, eat, sleep. play.

  12. I love it! I have both a cat and a dog. Which one is the easiest? Hmmmm...that I'm not sure of. The dog can go whereever we go without a fuss and the cat can be left at home alone for a long period of time, never to be let outside...just eat, drink, sleep and have an electric litter box! The litter box on the other hand is something that I am so sick of after 9 years and vomits hairballs on a routine basis but our cat is very affectionate and cries (like a dog barks) to get into Tyler's room. Tiger loves...loves...loves Tyler. Biscuit (dog) on the other hand is absolutely precious but has more needs than the cat...ie. a raincoat when it raining outside and we have to go potty because we hate getting wet, a sweater or coat in the winter because she doesn't do cold very well but...so, ever so loving!

I loved it because...both are very, very true. LOL!

  13. I love this one my friend! It's soooo funny!! I am sure you're feeling better having your laughs back on Friday!

Glad to see your sidebar is back to normal. Now if those feedburner numbers would just get fixed (everybody's are messed up)!

I am having a nice break. Sigh - but I have to accomplish something today and I am sleepy. As soon as hubby gets off work today, he's on vacation until 4/14. So the big house/yard projects will begin! And at least 1 or 2 fun little side trips hopefully.

Big Happy Dog and Sneaky Captive Cat Hugs to you!! :)

  15. That is too cute! We have always had dogs, but when we lived with Brian's parents there were 2 cats and our dog. It was quite interesting, and man, were those cats moody!
