*Heavy Sigh*

Update below!
I really need to get on the ol' homeschool planning ball but before I can I need to take care of something that REALLY needs to be dealt with first. *sigh*
THIS!Yes, there's actually a desk underneath there and yes, it's gotten really really bad. AGAIN! No, this isn't the first time it's gotten like this. It would almost be embarrassing if I didn't know that most of YOUR desks have looked like this at one time or another! Come on admit it. Lisa W. if you look to the right you can see your scarf that I still need to ship to you. LOL! (Maybe my apron and your scarf will pass in the mail!) There's my sketch pad. I got it out thinking I might have time to do some drawing. Ha! Ha! Ha! Who was I kidding? Sophie Mae, you can see I hung the Maxine Calendar right where I can see it.
So as you can see I have my work cut out for me today. Desk work is not my forte'. I can think of a 100 things I'd rather be doing but this desk isn't going to clean itself. *sigh*
Or does it?!

I'll be back to post my "after" picture later on today, as I know you will be anticipating it! SFETE!

Okay everyone! Here is the after picture! I feel so much better now. Like I can think again!!! What you can't see is that I just slid everything on the floor. I'm kidding! Really I am!!!

What are you tackling this week?

HUGS!

  4. I have to start planning school next year, too. I always take the first few weeks of summer off and then I panic and need to know everything is all set for the Fall. Good luck with the desk...looks like a a project to me!:-)

  5. We have some issues going on here that make it hard for me to plan out our future in homeschooling. It's kind of frustrating but I just keep giving it over to the Lord.

I see a Woman's Day mag on your desk. I love the mag. It's so simple and easy to read.

    Have a great week!

  6. Hi scarf! I'm waving at you! :) Didn't want to mail your apron too soon and make you feel bad!

I do not like cleanup of that sort either! But it will feel good to git r done! I worked Fri & Sat on my bedroom which had turned into quite the mess - always the last place I work on - sad. I need to finish it up today and then I can get back to phase 2 of my file cabinet project in the garage. There are so many more spots I have to organize around the house though. I need to get a lot done in 3 weeks 'cause we'll leave on our MT trip and we're actually going to have a house/pet sitter this time!

Have a great day my friend - can't wait to see how much you get done!!

Big the-desk-might-clean-itself-but-then-you-wouldn't-know-where-everything-was hugs to you! :)

  8. Good job, Bob! 8-]

DAWG! I didn't realize how long I'd been slacking off in the blog world. But I have been reading daily. I tackled Duller's desk a few months ago, but it only took him a few days (he was being good) to get it back like it was. It must be desk-clearing season, coz that's my plan for today.

    Love ya tons, swee'pea!
    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

  9. Mine is not my desk since I don't have one at home. But it is the bookshelf and the rest of the living room, which is my school room. I am getting rid of a bunch of books. They are now all over my coffee table. AAAHHHH!!!! I must try to sell and get rid of them. SOON!!!

  10. Looks great! I think you might have inspired me!
About the pillow...I saw it the other day and thought of you. It said, "I would give up chocolate, but I am not a quitter."
Loved it! Have a great day!
Shoot, I just knocked over a big cup of water on my desk. Gotta go.

  11. You are just the inspiration I needed! I have part way through organizing my scrap booking stuff. (I have been promised a craft room but it has taken a back seat to rental renovations). All of my papers and stickers and punches and stamps are spilling out of my closet onto my bedroom floor. Ok I am going to step away from the computer and go back to scrap land.
