Impromptu Giveaway 1 Day Only! WINNER!

Using the number generator the winner is number 1! Congrats Mel. Like I said in my post, I got these at Joann Fabrics if you are interested. I'm going to read over them this week and try to start one or the other the first of next week. I'll keep you posted on my cooking blog.

My daughter and I went to Joann Fabrics yesterday. (I always leave there tired and hungry! But that so has nothing to do with my point!) As I was looking around I came across these two books. The 28 Day Plan (Detox) and The 28 Day Plan (Flat Stomach). These are very short but sweet books. So in light of yesterday's post I figured this was just meant to be, so I bought me and one lucky winner a set. I've only flipped through them but they look like they have really easy to understand information.
But as with anything I would be careful and take their advice at your own risk. (Blah blah blah covering my own butt, blah blah!)
With that said, if you would like to have these 2 books just leave a comment telling me why and I'll pick a winner tonight. EASY!!

Here's what the back of the Detox book says:
* Are you lacking in energy and carrying a little extra weight? Do you feel you are generally lethargic? Then detox could be the answer.
* Shows you how to cleanse your body through exercise and healthy eating
*Features a week-by-week plan with daily schedules to make this an achievable aim
*Contains easy to follow exercise to practice at home or in the gym
And much more...
These look good I just wish someone else could do them for me but let me reap the benefits! LOL. Dang, I am lazy! LOL.

I will pick a name at 8p.m. EST tonight and Update this post with the winner!

  1. Great giveaway! Thanks for thinking of us. :) Reasons I want/need this book: I'm trying to eat healthier and need to detox my bod from all the nasty meat stuffs. I need to lose 30 lbs (desperately!) and this would be a great way to start my journey. Ummm, what else...oh yeah, cuz I'm the first comment?? ;) Thanks again for thinking of your readers while you were shopping!

  3. Because I have never, ever, had a flat stomach. Even when I weighed 122 lbs and people thought I was too thin (which I technically wasn't) I have never had a flat tummy. I would really like to experience that, lol. And I need to detox, but refuse to do it the un-natural way. And my daddy is from Florida :)

  5. Kim,

I just feel so blah, can't blog, just blah. Maybe a detox is what I need. No energy, no motivation and I'm not feeling the love. If I don't win, I need to know where to buy this detox book. I need to feel the love. I need pep in my step. I need energy. I need motivation! I need a vacation!

Just a blah day in blog land.

  9. Oh Kim!
You are such a delight! Although I wish the prize was that cute little tray you got from Ross:)
I would be really interested in the detox book actually. Along with decluttering my home I think it would be great to declutter my body.

  10. How about: I would like these books because I feel like crap. :D I seriously need to "clean out the system" and have little motivation to do so. Maybe the books will get me motivated. Maybe.

  11. You are such a sweet loving person full of charm! Man, lethargic, tired, lacking energy. Oh yeah, that's me. Need to lose weight, ha ha, that's a silly question. Actually guess I shouldn't joke about that one huh? If I want to live, I'd better lose it.

Any way, wanted to let you know I have an award for you. :)

Just found out today that our next boating club meet is the end of August,I was hoping it would not be until October,so i would not have to wear a swimsuit,so i have only about 2 months to get in shape so I can actually fit in the new swimsuit i bought last month.

  13. Oh what a great giveaway. I'd love to try this program. I am overweight and seeking motivation to get started losing. Most days I wake up feeling like I never went to sleep and then do not have passion or zest for life because of feeling so drained and beat down. I feel like it's a never ending circle... I don't have energy because I don't exercise...I don't exercise because I don't have energy. Oh to get some of this off and be able to fully enjoy my children!

  14. You are so sweet to get something to give away! No need to enter me, I am way behind on reading the WW and other health books I have already!!

I will say a prayer for Debra - hope all is OK. Thanks for letting us know.

I have so much to do this week with our Friendship Days and I'm co-hosting a ladies tea on Saturday and I'm trying to get things organized before our trip to MT (in 2 weeks). Starting to feel overwhelmed! I must sit down and list it all out and split it into days.

Have a wonderful day my friend!! Big sucking-sounds-of-flattening hugs to you!!! :)

  15. Hey, Boo! Just had to share this link... in case you haven't already seen it.

Idano why I should have those books. My first step should be GET MORE SLEEP. UGH! So much to do, so little consciousness. I'm too tired to think straight. Doncha just love service people who make an appt to come to your house... 'sometime Tuesday'? ***Still waiting***

Oh, and here's another cool link. Have you seen it?

    Love ya loads, sweet thang!
    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

  16. You are so thoughtful to think of us!
I would love to get those books!
I set a goal to lose 10 pounds with you by Christmas, but I would love to get at least 5 off by my 10 year anniversary in just 2 months. I think that's possible...but not if I eat ice cream sandwiches! I have also been super tired lately. I tried a "cleanse" but it made me really sick. Anyway, I would love to hear what they have to say, but if I don't win, you will have to pass along the tips!
