*Sigh*

Well Christmas is over and we all know what that means. It's time to clean up and undecorate.
The undecorating isn't so bad, it's the cleaning up. My office/craft room/sewing room/homeschool room became the dump all room. You know the room. The one where every thing gets piled up in at the last minute to get ready for a party, or dinner or company etc.
Well the time has finally come to clean it.
That is my goal for the week. Undecorate and clean up my office.
Do you want to feel my pain by seeing a picture or two or three? Of course you do.
Here you go.

You can kind of see the floor. But I won't be happy until all this stuff is OFF the floor. So you can see I have my work cut out for me.
And a better shot of my desk where I made those cute little crafts of mine. What? You don't see a desk in this picture? Look closely at anything that resembles wood. See it now? Okay, good.
Does anyone else have this kind of project to conquer? Please say yes, please say yes!
I'll post some after picture hopefully by the end of the week! Let's shoot for Saturday, because I know you care! LOL.
HUGS TO YOU SWEET FRIENDS!

  1. Oh sure. My room is the basement tho. We have more toys that need to be cleaned up so the new ones can take their place...UGHHHH....Good luck, I really don't like to take the decorations down. Those house looks too bare once they are gone!

  2. Yes, but after seeing yours, I feel better. Ha! I am ready to put up the Christmas decorations but my family is not. I just feel the need to put it all back in order before school starts back next week. I feel your pain. My office needs some work too!

  6. Yes! Have you been peeking? I have a few of those rooms and planned to take care of one a day while I'm off for two weeks. I've been home for a week and a half and still haven't touched any of it. I have managed to get the decorations back into the attic and the house is back in order. The forbidden rooms are still forbidden. Maybe I'll tackle one tomorrow, or the next day or the next.

    Happy New Year Friend!

  8. Loved this post! I also have a room that catches all the extra stuff. The Christmas decorations are all put away but I do still have the task of cleaning "that" room. Yuck!

    Good luck with your cleaning!

  9. Ow, ow, ow!!! My eyes! LOL.

Yes, it's time to clean up! We don't have much to mess and clean up right now since 80% of what we own is in boxes in the basement! hahaha!!!!!!

  10. Well you make me feel better my friend!! My rooms are somewhat OK right now, but the real problem is in the cabinet where I'm keeping all my cookbooks etc. It was a computer armoire and now I use it to hold all sorts of things, but it looks like the sort of closet where you open the door and everything explodes! I really must tackle it, but have to wait until next week since hubs is on vacation this week.

Thanks for sharing the pics to make us all feel better! Big that-room-is-unacceptable-for-my-OCD-friend hugs to you! Have a fun-tastic day! :)

  11. I haven't even started yet. I'm still enjoying my Christmas tree, especially since it's artificial. But on New Year's Day; that's when I will get moving and cleaning up.

    Blessings to you my friend,
    Debbie

  12. Well, my family room looked like that for quite awhile after my mom moved in with us.

We had to find room for her stuff and our stuff that we'd moved out to make room for her. Aaarrrgh!

  13. Kim,

I do have a similar situation but mine is the garage. It was a convenient place for everyone to just dump stuff as they were coming and going both in and out of the house. So I can feel your pain.

  14. I will be thinking of you as you start your clean up - I have been doing a little bit each day. Today I took down all the cards.
