It's time again for some completely random thoughts.
And because you know I love em', I'll be using bullets to help me along.
Who knows, you might even learn something. I know I know, BONUS!

- We watched The Bee Movie last night. It was stupid. Don't bother watching it.
- Homemade Sloppy Joe's are just as good in a hot dog bun as they are in a hamburger bun.
- When making your own Sloppy Joe sauce, don't unscrew the lid to the Liquid Smoke and accidentally pour half the bottle into your mixture. All you have to do is flip the lid and let it come out of that little hole, s-l-o-w-ly! OY!
- Too often I wish someone would show up at my doorstep around 2:00 pm with the latest and greatest Starbuck's flavored coffee!
- I also wished that you all lived in Florida within a mile's radius of me. Now that would be fun.
- I need to make a list of my friends for my 40th party and give it to my BFF. Who wants to come? Refer to prior bullet.
- I'm so thankful for our Pastor and his wife. They are a blessing.
- My Gazania's are still alive. Woo! Hoo!
- I would really like to go to the Melting Pot again. (I love you honey!)
- The month of June is going to be a blurr. I'll tell you why soon!
- I have sadly neglected my cooking blog and I have quite a few recipes I want to post but haven't had time. For those of you who follow it, hang with me. I haven't abandoned it.
What's going on in your neck of the woods?
HUGS!
Coffee at 2:00 sounds awesome and I wish that we lived closer so I could be at your BIG birthday party :-)
ReplyDeleteThat would be awesome to live closer! :D I'd definitely bring Starbucks! :D
ReplyDeleteUgh on 40! I think that will be the hardest age for me. :(
What about 1,000+ mile radius away?? A 1 is a 1, right?
ReplyDeleteBirthday parties are fun! Enjoy each day and remember to breath!! You're awesome!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see you are thankful for your pastor and his wife. Make sure you tell them that. I am a pastor's wife and I enjoy it completely, but it is difficult. Encouragement is greatly needed in the pastor's family. They are the devil's #1 target.
ReplyDeleteThat's some wonderful randomness:-)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this list; your pastor and his wife sound ideal. Happy birthday soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat list my friend! I would totally bring you Starbucks! I just brought some to my friend yesterday when I went to help her move.
ReplyDeleteI think you should have 40th bday parties in several locations around the country so all friends can attend one - LOL!
Big hope-you'll-still-like-me-even-though-I-liked-the-Bee-movie hugs to you! Have a SUPER day my friend!! :)
I left a comment on this, but then I got some weird screen pop-up, so I don't think the comment went through. If it did, and you get two comments, just delete one of them.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, given that I am hopeful of moving back to Florida this summer, I would love to attend your big birthday bash!!!
Also, I LOVE The Melting Pot. Haven't eaten there since moving from Florida, but I LOVED it. I could eat there once a month!!
Love,
Patti
I always leave your blog with a smile on my face and that's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived closer to you. It would be fun to get together in real life and ...laugh!
Blessings and love,
Debbie
Kim,
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun post and love how you named it random bullets. I get it now, now the ones, well you know what I mean.
I wished we lived closer so I could be there to celebrate with you but hoping lots of our blogging friends will make it.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Would love the Starbucks at 2:00 too. I so wish I lived within a mile of you and I would so love to come to your birthday party. Love the Melting Pot and I love that we are friends!!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... What's going on here?
ReplyDeleteLast baseball and softball games of the season are both on Wednesday but the forecast calls for rain so we'll see.
Practice today for both kids but again it's supposed to start raining this afternoon so well, you know.
Ummmm... We have a BBQ scheduled at a park for our LIFE groups (church) but the high of the day is supposed to be 71 degrees so by the time 6:30 rolls around it's sure to be cold.
AND I couldn't stand the Bee Movie either and definately take your side on not wasting time on it.
Hey, you asked! *Smiles*
Not much over here. LOL Always busy:)
ReplyDeleteI agree about the sloppy Joes. Hubs doesn't care for them on hot dog buns though. Silly guy.
40th bday celebration sounds fun. I will be 39 so we can celebrate together. :)
Hugs,
mimi
Kim,
ReplyDeletePlease help me spread the word of a sister in Christ who so desperately needs help with a limited amount of time left.

Thanks for the warning on the Bee movie. And 2'clock is my "need an extra boost" time too.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wish someone would come by with hot chocolate and a piece of cheesecake - but so far this has never happened.
ReplyDeleteWhere has May gone - but I do want June to buzz by super fast as my dear brother from Denver is coming to visit and I am so excited - haven't seen him since 2005:)
NO........YOU guys are the blessing.....believe me:)
ReplyDeleteOk, I got stuck at the one where you wanted people to live in FL near you. Does that include me? Now I'm daydreaming...
ReplyDeleteYour coffee lover you...turning 40 and feeling blue? not you no way no how!
ReplyDeleteSloppy Joe made from scratch, wow to you I'm no match!
Your pastor and his wife are friends and blessings too
What gifts they are from God to you
the Bee movie is stupid you say?
we recite that movie day by day ;)
Hope you busy and we will see a sign that reads SOLD

Love to you my friend this is all I got :)
