Thank You Very Much!

It's Free Therapy Day!! That's right, it's Thursday, which means it's the Thank You Very Much day. The way it works is that you post your little peeves that may have affected you in some way during the week and say, Thank You Very Much in a slightly sarcastic tone.

I saw this over at my friend Mimi's and knew I had to give it a shot!

To my sons who think that all the packed boxes are now just flat surfaces waiting to be covered with their toys. Thank you very much.

To my best friend, who now has me hooked on these new Starbuck's Cherry Coffee drink thingys, thingies? Thank you very much!

To our mail lady, who I guess is trying to beat her best delivery time by leaving our neighbor's mail in our mailbox therefor forcing us to deliver it for her. Thank you very much.

To the 3 dove's that have built nests and had babies on my husband's ladder hanging outside the workshop, we're moving and would like to take that with us so could you speed this along a little bit. Thank you very much.

To the neighbor across the street, could you please keep your cat inside so I don't find squirrel parts under my patio furniture while chilling out. Thank you very much.

And last but not least, to the telemarketers that call and ask for money for a charity that we've never heard of and when told no, ask why not. It's none of your business, thank you very much.

Wow! This was very therapeutic. You should try it.
Go on over and visit The Daily Dribbles if you want to give it a shot.

LOVE YOU MY FRIENDS!!

  7. I read your blog with a Jeff Foxworthy kind of spin which made me laugh even more until I got to the squirrel parts....my coffee has never tasted worse~thank you very much! LOL

I heard a lady call in to Air1 radio and encourage drivers to baby talk the person that might have just cut them off in traffic or who is following too closely...so I tried it. My girls thought I had flipped my lid but it really works. You'll have to try it but add "thank you very much" to the end. You know, if you have occassional road rage too. Blessings to you!

  12. Thanks so much for linking up! Those are some great Thank you's!

I cringed at the squirrel parts under your patio furniture Eek!

We used to have mailman that would always give us our neighbors mail. Same number, but different street name, so it wasn't like they were just next door. We'd have to take a walk or drive over to deliver the mail. It was so frustrating!

  13. Squirrel parts, sick!! Our neighbors cat leaves us prizes in our flower bed : (

I know what you mean about boys thinking any flat surface is for their toys, ugh!!

Best Friends are the best, even when they get you hooked on Starbuck's!!

Too bad for the doves, believing they will move along before you have to.

Love your "Thank you very Much" post

    Love and Blessings

But here's one...to my neighbor's kids who race their ATV's up and down the road so that it sounds like we live in the Daytona Speedway...thank you very much!! (ATV's are for isolated or rural areas...not heavily populated subdivisions!!)

  19. Next time a telemarketer calls and asks for you (or whomever), say "Just a moment please!". Then go sit with a coffee and chill out.

If you want, you could check every 2-3 min or so saying "Are you still there? Hold on and I'll be with you in shortly." And just do your own little survey on how long it takes them before they hang up on you.
