After going to the Orlando Science Center, I want to give a big Thank You Very Much to this guy (below) for not making it to my century. Cause I seriously wouldn't want to have to deal with you during rush hour!

Thank You Very Much! The Inanimate Object Edition!

It's been awhile since I've done one, so I'm pretty sure I'm due!

AND I'm sure some of you saw this one coming. I'm just sayin'!

• To my leather couch, Thank You Very Much for making it miserable to sit on when it's hot. Can you say sticky? Ugh!

• To my dryer that's right outside my kitchen, Thank You Very Much for raising the temperature at LEAST 6.3 degrees when you are running and making it even more miserable hot inside the house.

• To our dining room chairs that meet my bare legs during dinner and then refuse to let me up due to the fact that my legs are sweating, give me a break will you, Thank You Very Much.

•  To my morning coffee, why must you taste so good? I'm sitting here with sweat glistening drips of perspiration making their way down my back while I drink you, Thank You Very Much!

• To the "cold" water that comes out of the pipes, I can't even get relief with a cold shower because you are still at least 84 degrees, Thank You Very Much!

Well there you have it. You saw that coming didn't you? LOL!

It had to be done. AND I feel a little bit better.

Thank You Very Much! The Clothes Buying Edition!

It's Free Therapy Day!! That's right, it's Thursday, which means it's Thank You Very Much day. The way it works is that you post your little peeves that may have affected you in some way during the week and say, Thank You Very Much in a less than slightly sarcastic tone.

If you visited my blog within the last 2 days you'll know that I had gone shopping for an outfit for my 40th Birthday Party tomorrow. And thus this post was born. Thank You Very Much!

• To all manufacturer of shoes, Thank You VERY Much for stopping at size 9.5 when making half sizes. Never mind the few of us who are actually a 10.5 but can't EVER find that size ANYWHERE on a store shelf!

• To the few of you who thought that yesterday's blingy red tank top was indeed a dress, you might want to go back and look at the picture once again and remember that I am 6 foot tall, Thank you very much. LOL! (It did make me laugh though and you know I love ya!)

• To all the store clerks who had the perfect opportunity to tell me that I DIDN'T look anywhere near 40, but didn't, that hurt, Thank You Very Much. LOL! (Actually one young gal did comment about me not looking 40 and I'll be shopping there again. LOL!)
  

• To EVERY store in the Mall and all around town, Where is all the red? I wasn't looking for purple or pink or puke mustard. I wanted red and there wasn't a whole lot to choose from, Thank You Very Much.

• To the store clerk who pulled a mini skirt off the rack and actually thought I'd consider wearing it, I appreciate your enthusiasm but, NO WAY, not even in my wildest dreams (okay MAYBE in my wildest dreams), Thank you very much!

• To those people who make that thing that you painfully slide over your head and SQUEEZE over you upper body that's supposed to smooth out your, um, *cough*, not so flattering midsection, but in return make you feel like a stuffed sausage! I secretly love you, Thank You Very Much!

Once again I feel soooo much better. You really should try this. It works. LOL!

Thank You Very Much! The Driving Edition!

It's Free Therapy Day!! That's right, it's Thursday, which means it's Thank You Very Much day. The way it works is that you post your little peeves that may have affected you in some way during the week and say, Thank You Very Much in a less than slightly sarcastic tone.


You know 99% of the time I'm a pretty happy-go-lucky person, but put me on the road and that other 1% has a tendency to get hot. So today I dedicate this post to those people that seem to seek me out while driving. Thank You Very Much!

• To the people who think I'm a mind reader and know EXACTLY when you're going to stop and turn and don't feel the need to use your blinker and in return give me the perfect opportunity to check my breaks and reflexes, Thank You Very Much.

• To the out of staters, we love you, yes we do. You help with our economy. But I ask that you figure out where you're going before you get there so I don't get stuck behind you in the fast lane going 10-15 miles per hour slower than the speed limit because you're trying to figure out your GPS, Thank You Very Much.

• To the lady who went the wrong way up the parking aisle, came to the end of it and wondered why I was sitting there with my blinker on trying to go down it the right way and giving me the, "What are you stupid?" look. Get a clue, Thank You Very Much!

• To the person who blows their horn at me while I'm waiting for a pedestrian to cross the street I'm turning onto, know your laws, Thank You Very Much!

• To the people who decided that I now need my marriage certificate, birth certificate, social security card, and 2 documents showing our current residential address to renew my drivers license. Thank You VERY much for making it so EASY. I'm looking forward to it!

• To the people who come inches away from hitting my car because you're either on the cell phone or text messaging, I have children on board and prefer to live, Thank You Very Much.

• To the car full of teenage girls that were behind me one day while driving.You were so close to my bumper that I could only see the very back of your car, so I know you can't see around my vehicle to know if I'm going to need to slam on my breaks at any given minute and believe it or not, your not invincible and will bleed, please back off a little bit and save yourself a serious headache, Thank You Very Much!

• And last but not least, to the people who drive the really hot cars that make me lose my focus while driving, I'd appreciate it if you'd just stick to the large family appropriate and bland vehicles so as not to deter my attention from the road, Thank You Very Much! LOL!

OH I could go on and on and on about driving peeves but these are the most recent ones that have stuck in my brain this week!

Thank You Very Much! The Aging Body Edition!

That's right, I've got some bones to pick with my body this week. Let me know if any of you can relate.

• To my eyes, it's not bad enough that I've been near sighted for most of my life but now I can't read up close either? Thank you VERY much for that.

• To my left shoulder muscle, Thank you very much for making it sooo easy to pull these days and making me question just how I get out of bed sometimes.

• To the 3 black hairs on my face, Thank you very much for asking a few friends over to party, I now feel like I need to shave. (Your welcome for the visual!)
  

• To the varicose vein in my left leg, could you get any uglier, Thank you very much.

• To the spare tire around my waist, Excuse me but you belong on a car, not me, thank you very much!

• To the bat wings on my arms that won't go away no matter how many tri-cep curls I do, Thank you very much. (Mom I'm sorry for every playing with yours and thinking they were cool when I was little. I completely understand why you got upset! LOL)

Phew, I feel so much better now. Don't get me wrong, I don't go around in a depression about all this stuff, but it is stuff that I've noticed lately with the whole aging process!
As least no hot flashes yet! LOL! Of course I wouldn't know I was having one right now any way it's so hot here.
But just to leave you on an up note, God is good, ALL THE TIME!

1. To Chocolate, Thank You VERY Much for tasting so good. My hips and thighs greatly appreciate that!

2. To the carrot, why can't you taste more like chocolate, Thank You Very Much!

3. To Publix, where shopping truly is a pleasure, could you give me a break on the prices? We are a one income family, Thank You Very Much.

4. To the Newman O's Cookie, how cruel it is of you to only put 2 cookies as a serving with 130 calories, because you KNOW I'm not going to eat just 2, Thank You Very Much!

5. To my family, who because I made the mistake of "sharing" a few pieces of my chocolate with, now assumes that I'm going to do it all the time. I'm telling you right now, I'm cutting you off, Thank You Very Much!

6. And last but not least, You know it's hot out when the water that's coming out of the COLD side of the tap is 84 degrees and not very refreshing, Thank You Very Much!

Oh I can't tell you how much I look forward to this Meme every week now. It really is therapeutic.

• To my dog who, even though there is a large box where she usually lays (right in front of the bathroom door) she still manages to squeeze in there, lay on her side, fall into a deep sleep and start running along side the box with her nails and waking us up 4 or 5 times last night..... Thank you very much!

• To the guy who decides 3 am is a good time to let off fireworks and scare us half to death, wait long enough for us to fall back asleep and set off another one for a complete hour, we really don't appreciate that Thank you very much!

• To the Florida humidity that just smacks you in the face as soon as you walk outside and makes it miserable to be out there for even a second....Thank you very much!

• To my youngest son who, since I've unpacked all their toys, decides that they need to be all over my house.....Thank you very much.

• To that one mosquito ( you know who you are) that manages to make it inside our home and attack me while I'm at the computer and before I know it I'm itching 4 or 5 bites, you are not welcome here so go away.....Thank you very much.

Ahhh....so much better. Now it's your turn. Go on, try it! It's so FREEING! LOL!

• To the lady that signed a contract to buy our home and then back out less than two weeks before closing because of a bogus appraisal and left me with 70+ boxes to unpack.......Thank you very much!

• To our Realtor who was the worst communicator on the planet and left us hanging on more than one occasion...... Thank you very much!

• To the appraisal guy who had to have been on appraisal induced drugs when he did our appraisal and totally blindsided us with a low appraisal..... Thank you very much! (I was trying to say the word appraisal as much as I could. How did I do? LOL!)
  

• To the big ol' honkin' bar of chocolate just waiting to be eaten and then placed on my hips, Thank you very much!

Now for some very sincere Thank you very muches! Muches isn't a word but I'm going to use it any way. So all you writers out there, just look the other way.

• To my husband, who has been a rock through all of this....Thank you very much!

• To my best friend who brought me chocolate and coffee on more than one occasion....Thank you very much!

• To all you, that said a prayer for us while we were going through this.....Thank you very much!

• To my children who simply went with the flow and didn't question it.....Thank you very much!

• And last but not least, I want to thank the Lord who has it all worked out and knows every detail of everything that is going on and why....Thank you VERY much!

To our mail lady, who I guess is trying to beat her best delivery time by leaving our neighbor's mail in our mailbox therefor forcing us to deliver it for her. Thank you very much.

To the 3 dove's that have built nests and had babies on my husband's ladder hanging outside the workshop, we're moving and would like to take that with us so could you speed this along a little bit. Thank you very much.

To the neighbor across the street, could you please keep your cat inside so I don't find squirrel parts under my patio furniture while chilling out. Thank you very much.

And last but not least, to the telemarketers that call and ask for money for a charity that we've never heard of and when told no, ask why not. It's none of your business, thank you very much.
