Today is my precious daughters 17th birthday!
(Please excuse the mismatched candles that I may have actually saved from prior birthdays just to save 2 bucks because I actually forgot to buy them for hers. It's the human in me.)
My first born, my only daughter. Where did it go? 17 years, WHOOSH!
She is truly a blessing to us and it's amazing to see her grow so fervently in the Lord.
She's had her ups and downs but I love it when she just clings all the more tighter to the One who is her strength.
We went ahead and celebrate yesterday because it just seemed like a good day being the weekend and all.
We had some of our church family over for dinner and games.
We didn't get loud or laugh or get a little rowdy because we are a very composed bunch.

ReplyDeleteOh, I love fall! Even if it is hot outside, you could always turn the air way up and pretend.:) Get out the blankets, and start a fire in the fireplace....just light a candle.:) Your decorations are beautiful, and I'm loving the simmering scents.
