On a Valentinesy Roll! Love Notes!

You are just going to have to bear with me. I’ve got love on the brain and it just won’t stop. It’s what I’m doing right now. I’m crafting as I organize. It’s either this or I could tell you all about how I stepped in dog poopy the other day. I’m just sayin’.

Well since you’re not here to answer whether or not you’d like to see what I did or the dog poopy story I’m going to proceed with the first. There’s always another day! LOL!

So here we go! I hope you still enjoy it.

This was a plain cardboard mailbox that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.

I want to give my hubbalicious sweet love notes leading up to Valentines Day so I painted it all Valentinesy and now it sits on his night stand. He knows that when the flag is up, he’s got mail. Cute huh? It was totally inexpensive but a thoughtful thing. He’s really enjoying it.

Here are a few links to some free printables.

  1. Nope. Well...sometimes I send him and e-mail. I know, I know, that's sooo impersonal!

  4. That was very sweet (and cute & creative) - I'm not super crafty, even though you said it looked easy, I can't imagine the mess I would make of it. Still, you have inspired me to be nice to my hubby and send him some love letters, maybe leave them on his pillow or something. He would LOVE something like that, but after 14 1/2 years of marriage, I must confess I don't do all that much anymore. Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. Your hubby is so lucky to have you! I'm curious, though, what do your kids think of the idea? My three boys have gagging spells everytime they see kissing on TV, or see my hubby and I hugging or holding hands. Lol! This would probably send them right over the edge to watch.
