I really wasn’t sure what kind of animal I would be able to capture today. In desperation I would have hunted down an ant pile in order to capture an ant but I didn’t have to do that. Thank goodness.
As my daughter was out in the garden she heard something under the green pepper plants and lo and behold this fella came rushing out at her. Okay maybe he didn’t come rushing out but there he was the perfect specimen for today’s challenge.
Say “CHEESE”
This is one of a few box turtles that make our yard their home. I have a smaller one that comes up on the front porch and eats the dead bugs. I’ve named him Simon. LOL!
Isn’t he cute?

They were always in my life in East texas..I quess it is too hot here for them.My Kelly use to catch them at my mom's and bring them here..we would keep them in a small swimming pool..she would feed them..and they would die..so sad! She started collecting ceramic turtles instead...lol
